Sure it was only one game, but they looked pretty dangerous with hill

I don't think they win it all with Drew or Hill
Best chance is to make Drew the starter but maybe use Hill even more than they have
They say if you have two Qbs you have none but I think it is their best chance
Can't bench Brees after a 6 game win streak and now after the Hill win Saints won 7 in a row

This should be Brees last year though
It would be if I was the coach

Got to wonder how being busted up in the mid section so badly will effect an already used arm when he returns.....The cord is huge in generating power.

Not good.

Brees is set to retire this season so when he's back to healthy, he is the STARTER.

Isnt Brees getting a job with NBC next season?

What are you thinking about this question, Chop?

There must be similar sentiment down in the Bayou. At least by some.

You don't tug on Superman's cape.

You don't spit in the wind.

You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger.

And you don't EVER bench Drew Brees.

Brees is a vastly superior passer than what Hill gives them. I think this played a part in the Saints choosing Hill over Winston. Payton knows this is Brees final season and he doesn't want to have to deal with the controversy of Winston playing so well that there would be some question whether or not they should go back to Brees. By playing Hill he won't have to worry about making such a decision.

So you saying Payton intentionally played the inferior QB in order to avoid a potential QB controversy ?

No

Winston gives them the better chance of winning the Super Bowl this season. He should be playing over Brees, but Payton wants to stay loyal to the guy who is the all time face of the franchise.

They got one bye in each conference and Sean Payton is going to intentionally start the worst QB on the team in order to avoid a QB controversy .

That is pretty Lol man

Why not, he currently isn't even starting the best QB on the team.
