Yet Griz still have best record in the league!!!! Small market, not a desirable city, etc., but still find a way to be consistent winners.

If they want to prevent tanking, give the teams that barely missed the playoffs the best chance at the lottery but then again, that would create more unfairness as a team that goes 40-42 obviously has some talent and then drafts Lebron

Disparity in the league isnt a new issue, its been going on for years. The only thing that will change things is if people stop spending their money to support the product, which is doubtful

There will likely be some form of lottery reform sooner than later. Just the latest proposal got voted down but they will do something to prevent what the Sixers are doing.

NBA Lottery will always be Such a huge disparity because of the talent difference between the #1 overall pick and the #6 or so overall pick unless you are a great scout and get Garnett or Love at #5 or whatever it was.. NBA drafting is damn near an exact science. How many second round picks last more than 3 years. Not like that in the NFL unless it is a Luck/ Manning type of year. I still can't believe they got that freakin lucky. Those 2 may go down as the 2 greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Sure you can debate it but even if its 2 of the top 15, it is crazy odds. Everyone is raving about the Cowboys offensive line; not looking it up but I beleive all of those were mid to late 1st round picks.

I think that is why the NFL draft is so popular. I love it because every pick in the first round or 2 mattters. You expect your first 2 or 3 round picks to be starters. If my NBA team is picking #24, who cares. The Pacers have done a ridiculous job of drafting. Getting George at #11 or so...Same with Granger. That almost never happens.
