I guess majority would rule. If that many owners wanted him gone they'd be talking. For fans to think they have any say
who the commish should/shouldn't be be is laughable.

The consumers for the most part don't give a fuck who it is. Just a few select crybabies who's team or player gets punished. They are as clueless as the day is long

Holy Shit, that ruling really ruined your day my friend

and let's just say there's a tad bit of irony in your posts

at the end of the day, Roger's argument that "I'm the commissioner and I can do what I want when I want for whatever reason I want" did not and will not stand.

he's lost every time an independent arbitrator hears the case, and this time he fought to prevent an independent arbitrator from hearing the case but it still could not save his idiocy

he has all the power of the commissionership, and he still fucked it up. that's bad, that's really really really bad

and let me say Roger has NOTHING to do with the NFL's increase in popularity, lest you're silly enough to believe he invented stuff like fantasy football and gambling (which he opposes) and the NFL package and red zone. He's just the man sitting in that office when shit happens

Giving Roger credit for increased exposure is like giving the POTUS credit for the industrial revolution, especially since Roger is officially the laughing stock of professional sports.

Roger's so damn smart, he even increased MLB's revenues, at a time when some have argued MLB's popularity is declining

Roger's actually increased revenues for every sport

good thing he thought of starting all these alternative sports networks so there could be bidding wars, that's pure brilliance

Would make my day if the owners issued a statement reading something like "for the integrity of the game" Roger Goodell has been relieved of his duties as NFL commissioner. Not going to happen though. He may be good at negotiating with the union and networks, but he's an absolute idiot when it comes to dealing with personnel issues.

why did you choose to attack patriot fans?

:think2:

I'll wager a whole lot of fans from a whole lot of teams think likewise

The nfl needs to Re-Jig the HO set up Roger is getting bad advise and info, not a fan of his but if he is a good leader he needs to surround himself with better people.

When I look at Goodell he reminds me of the movie Beetlejuice remember the end scene with guy with the shrunken head
