Its gonna get a lot more slippery......I can see quite a few stories on the news coming that will be asking people what the heck is going on.
I don't think the government should be in the business of marrying people but I think the government should be out of most people's businesses.
If someone wants to marry their cat they will, whether the government condones it or not. They will find some way to have a non-governmental marriage.
Same thing with polygamy. Many people are married to multiple people. They just haven't gone to the government to sanction it.

I'm just being a smartass, I'm not for gay marriage at all. Think it's one of the worst decisions the Supreme Court has ever made and crossed the line with States rights. Polygamy is way more normal IMO...I'm against that as well, but if gay marriage is law of the land then why shouldn't polygamy? And next will be animals, car, iPhones, etc....sad days are ahead
Polyamory is a fact. People are living in group relationships today. The question is not whether they will continue on in those relationships. The question is whether we will grant to them the same basic recognition we grant to other adults: that love makes marriage, and that the right to marry is exactly that, a right.
