Hahahaha yeah I'm not real clear on why these coaches have a "chart" for this stuff. It isn't that complicated.

I'm always amazed how these coaches being paid millions are not smart enough to make simple decisions that you and I can make. He ought to just come out and say I'm an idiot and apparently don't know what I'm doing because that is the truth. He cost them that game on his own.

He isn't alone. I see these coaches do that shit all year. Can't figure out why they can't figure it out.

Guy has brought the program farther than anyone since Lou Holtz. Going for 2 was dumb as well as not taking a knee and only leaving them 20 seconds or so. Wouldn't trade Kelly for anyone at this point

ND is a very hard place to win at.

True. Northwestern is a much easier place to win at.

If they let Faust and the others bring in the questionable recruits he has been aloud they could of won at ND also

Know a lot of fans who don't like what he has done in lowering the standards

I was amazed to watch this guy completely blow a game on his own saturday. Goes for 2 while up 11. Can run the clock to about max 8 seconds on kneel downs...but instead runs the ball.

I know he's had success there but these are horrible mistakes. Hard to have an confidence in someone who makes these kinds of errors on simple game math.

He he may just be a good motivator and recruiter but no one is mistaking him for Belichick or Saban for his game managing skills. That being said, he has put ND back on the map after the lost decade of Davies, Willingham and Weiss so I doubt they would cut him loose in fear of reverting back to those dark days.
