We all understand the rioters are sick fucks but the mayor attack is simply right wing nonsense. She obviously understands that those hell bent on destroying property outnumber the police by a large margin....therefore giving them space protects the safety of the officers. Why you right wing numbskulls always have to turn shit into something it isn't is really sick behavior.

it was a hold the line order and not an order to stand down. It actually is being reported now that it saved lives. You should really read about what happened and why.

Asked directly if the mayor was the one who gave that order, the source said: "You are God damn right it was."

In other words, the claim it "saved lives" is being made, without actual proof, by those who gave the orders. And there is large disagreement over whether or not the orders enabled safety.
