George Carlin maintained that ALL Flags should be banned.
If ya think it through...this "platform"....and don't just dismiss it as weird, stupid and a thing he said to get laughs (which it wasn't...he genuinely felt that all flags should be banned) he makes a Valid Point.
Flags cause Separation. They're at the root of Nationalism and that which divides people....creates Gulfs between People rather than Bridges.
Which, if Harmony is the goal (and it prolly should be...the goal...) Carlin makes a very valid suggestion. The complete opposite of stupid.
Carlin was among the smartest people to ever live. He also proposed that all Golf Course be converted into Homeless Shelters.
I am not with him on that. I'd accept conversion of SOME Golf Courses...not all of them though.
The Flag thing though...i am with him on.

At the risk of getting struck and taken outta here by a Carlin Induced Lightning Bolt from the sky I need to tell ya we might do well to have Tourney Threads for the remaining 3 Tourneys in The FedEx Cup. I know we as a group felt that just sticking to and focusing on Majors was best and I agree with that but it occurs to me that we might do well to rethink that and take a shot with these remaining 3 tourneys. Some viable "angles" might be uncovered.
Such as JDay hurt his back while moving some thing from beneath his and Ellie's RV....the night before the Pro Am so he withdrew. DJ also withdrew from that but we know...or at least "suspect" DJ withdraws due to "illness" in order to rest up...focus...on a primary forthcoming task.
I think we should try a thread for next week's Tourney Deutsche Bank Sep 4-7 then one for

Spieth has totally shattered earning's records...needs something like $50,000 over these last 4 Tourneys to set all time record...enters Playoff with 4000+ points, previous record was, like, 3100ish or 3300ish Tiger....Jordan has earned $10,455,654 (Ten Million) or somesuch this year.
Jack Nicklaus earned $5,600,000 (5.6 Million) his entire career.
Should we put up threads?
Or does JSpieth's Mammoth lead this year take the air out of this ballon? Like...."most viable angles i.e. guy's hunger to Win 10 Million dollar Fedex Cup $$$$ ain't present so the hell with it cuz guys know they have no shot" so maybe threads would not be as lucrative as thought?
