Chips also known as Shoebox down the alley has been expoused for the shady character he is. Let's see who comes to his defense. He ripped off his boss and split the country. Lot's of gory details were deleted at MW. BOTTOM LINE IS THIS GUY IS A THIEF.

I dont post at MW, but was told by friends to check it out, all of a sudden the thread vanished. Wil.

Codeworks,

Your post is very funny and seems sadly pretty true.

Here is what I remember, A poster named charlie chan (newbie) came on and started a thread that Shoebox alias Jerry quit his job at Casablanca, owing some clerk small money from gambling, the driver a nickel, why, I dont know, and 50K to one of the books in the call center. He said ask Mike Johnson if you do not believe him. Another boss was mentioned who also got ripped off big time, little or small, or something like that. Chips came on and admitted he was going on to bigger and better things, but all of the bad debts were lies. He claims he is in transit at this time. Another poster a newbie named Walter Cronkite claims:IF PEOPLE ONLY KNEW HOW MUCH THIS GUY HAS STIFFED SPORTSBOOKS FOR

THIS GUY IS NOTHING BUT A STIFF This is still posted because it was posted in a thread that Shoebox started yesterday saying how glad he was to be back or something. A few denials were added then the thread was deleted.

I happen to know the guy and you are right, he somehow worms his way into the confidence of bookmakers then rips them off. I did a little checking and its true he left his old job (WriteABet), a credit shop under bad circumstances, owing plenty of people money, whether or not he will ever pay it is anyone's guess. Highly doubtful if the figures I heard mentioned are true. Something tells me he will turn up in Curacao.

I posted this at Majorwager and I am not the one who wanted it delted, dont know the reasons behind that but anyway.

Its true that I left my office in Costa Rica, after a 2 week vacation and that is the only truth. In this business we dont sign contracts, there are no health benefits or retiremnet plans. We agree to work for an individual on a handshake and there is no court of law to settle disputes. Any agent or employee on the credit side of this business knows what I am saying is true and when you are dealing with large figures, sheets, red figures, etc... someone will always think they got screwed on a split up.

Willheim, you seem to feel strongly on this subject and anytime you would like to meet and talk about it will be fine with me. Walter, I seem to be a great topic of conversation for alot of people and the best answer I have is maybe some people are just jealous of the life I lead. Let me ask you this, If I have stiffed all these people and everyone knows it than how do I continue to work in this industry? In the past, just like many other people in this industry, I have had cash flow problems and have SLOWED paid people but to this date there isnt a person I have STIFFED in my life!

Judge, common, you know better than that. I feel I was screwed and they feel they were screwed, nobody stiffed anybody, all figures will be settled on the agreed amount which is yet to be determined.
