A party that's literally fucked up everything gets to celebrate their failures. Never before in our history can you be so bad and still win.

I don't care if the Republicans win the house, the margins are still a win for the democrats

I expect the Senate to be 50-49 for the GOP with another runoff in GA to decide the balance. Even if Walker wins, a victory for the democrats

Not the red wave democrats deserved. The Lions just won the SB, who saw that coming.

I love Trump for his policies, they were right for the country, but I think he has to step back, I'm now in Desantis' corner. What happened in Florida should have happened nationwide. And he's a big freedom guy too

I'm thinking this encourages Biden to run in 2024. I normally would say that would be great for conservatives, butt I just don't know anymore. We're a nation of idiots

Gooooood morning Willie
You're more lucky than the rest of the country.

Most democratic voters are going to cry they're poor, life ain't fair, there's too much crime, our neighborhoods ain't safe, kids are getting killed or die from drug abuse.....

Not my problem. I fix my problems

I can't care for them anymore

Carry-on

You get to live in a free state

Big win for DeSantis. He turned FL into a TX type state politically in the span of a few years. People can do all the voter fraud stuff they want, but they're gonna have to really ask themselves if they want to go back to the well with the Teflon Don in 2024 when he so clearly alienates and mobilizes so many people in this country.

Then my other take and I said this in the other thread but it fell on deaf ears is that I think the Dems probably built a new coalition of people that just normally don't vote with this early voting/mail in balloting stuff in 2020. And it seems like it is very repeatable. People who all the things you cited just aren't that big of a deal to because they don't really pay bills or do adult stuff anyway. Young folks and other assorted riff raff. Doesn't seem like this new advantage is going away. Social media probably plays a role as well in mobilizing these people when in previous years/eras they just slept till noon. Now they can sleep till noon and the vote was in 5 days ago.

Also, GOP ran a shit campaign. What the fuck did they even run on? Calling Biden senile? That Martha's Vineyard story was out of the news in 4 days. Another issue with social media, is most of these newer Republican's seem more interested in performative outrage than actually articulating their view on any issue. Probably because the fix to some of these issues involves uncomfortable truths and it is just easier calling Biden senile, the media corrupt, etc....They have no appetite for hard truths, then again the voters don't either.

As far as indifference goes, i got there before you so results like these don't bother me too much.

Early voting carried PA, that’s seemingly a certainty.

And everything you cited about attitudes is why I'm saying I can't care anymore. Let them sleep in the beds they made

SR also talks about voting processes, but it's not getting undone in our lifetime

Every man for himself. I'm OK with that

Funny how you're shockingly disappointed so often, along with the other schmucks in this thread presently. Are you caught unawares by the sun rising in the east every morning, Jagoff? "WE'RE a nation of idiots?" You are, and always WILL be, WITLESS WILLIE.

Now, bend over, bite that towel, and take your reaming like the BITCH that you "is," ROTFLMAO!!!!!

As I'm saying that, I'm thinking I should stop my monthly donations to benefit democratic voters.

But that stuff would harm kids too

Think I might evict some deadbeat today. ?

Trump got trounced last night. Simple as that. Republicans couldn't run on mandates, masking, and lockdowns because they were his policies. He's fired

Read it and weep, Short Eyes (I'm not senile, like you show signs of being, I posted this in another thread already, but I wanted to stick it up your ass in case you missed that thread):

Trump's 2024 hopes take a blow as big-money donors see he's 'an anchor on the party': CNN's Alice Stewart

Conservative CNN commentator Alice Stewart said on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump's hopes of being the Republican Party's nominee in 2024 took a major blow given the election results of the 2022 midterm elections.

Even though Republicans are still expected to take the House of Representatives, multiple Trump-backed candidates across the country underperformed and have either lost to or are currently trailing their Democratic opponents.
"Big money donors are telling me tonight they are ready to turn the page on Donald Trump," she said. "They now see he is an anchor on the party and this is not just people that have not been supportive of Trump, these are trump allies... They're realizing, under Trump, we lost the House, the Senate and the White House, and now we are in a critical midterm election and his appointed candidates have lost significantly."
CNN host Poppy Harlow then read a tweet from conservative CNN contributor Scott Jennings, who made very similar points to the ones that Stewart made.

"How could you look at these results tonight and conclude Trump has any chance of winning a national election in 2024?" Jennings wrote.
Former Rep. Mia Love (R-UT) jumped in to give Jennings' analysis a big thumbs up.

"I've been saying this," she said. "I have been saying this over and over and over again, and this is just from facts and evidence that you have seen play out."

Certainty? In this state they dont even start counting mailed ballots until the in-person counting is done. Oz was a shit candidate and the GOP gave Mastriano no money, they basically concede the Gov seat. Fetterman is an embarrassing joke but Trumps boy connected with nobody. Dems vote party first, second, and third...and this is a reliably blue state

I think voters associate all of that stuff with the left even if Trump was initially for some of it during the early days of the pandemic when no one knew WTF was going on.

But I do think too many moderate/apolitical type voters that would be more sympathetic to the GOP side just are turned off by him at this point.

Problem I see with Trump losing is he's just such a massive cultural fuck you to all the people Republican voters hate, going to be tough to let go of that. DeSantis is still just a politician, Trump is a cultural phenomenon that drives the worst people in the world to tears.

Rolltide has it right; "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that"

I believe main stream media has won. They control what most people see and hear.

MSM won, SSRI's won, and indoctrination by the 96% liberal teachers won. In ages 31+ the GOP destroyed but from 18-30 they lost by nearly 30 points. Unfortunately we all need to get used to the idea that waving a tranny flag off your porch is more normal than waving Old Glory. This is our future and as Thomas Sowell put it

There are too many people who will never appreciate the things that have made this country great until after those things have been destroyed — with their help. Then, of course, it will be too late.
