I guess it would be considered that particular books opening line no matter what time it got posted. If XXXX book puts their lines up at noon then that is still their opening line.

Not a stupid question at all, hell I don't know I'm just guessing.

Places that open late are not openers, they are only copying other books. It is called lazy and scared bookmaking.

The only way to answer this is to take the three-five books that generate numbers and measure the mean error of the openers vs the final line.

Without this data it is really pointless to debate. Hell, finding the real openers in and of itself is a trick.

Walk of Life's posts are strong. Some guys are sharp, some guys pay other's via soft lines to bet into their numbers and ID which ones were soft.

But to accurately answer the guy's question, it needs to be "WHO PUTS OUT THE SHARPEST NUMBER IN --------?" It's different for each sport.
