Los Angeles Dodgers (59-54) at Philadelphia Phillies (62-50)
(R) Chad Billingsley (9-6) vs. (R) Roy Oswalt (6-13)

The Dodgers have struggle on the road, just 1-10 away from home in its last 11 games and have dropped 10 of the last 13 meetings against the Phillies in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the hot Phillies are 14-4 in their last 18 games, 13-2 in its last 15 games at home and have won five of the last seven battles against Los Angeles.

Los Angeles sends Chad Billingsley (9-6, 3.82, ERA), to the mound. The right-hander is 1-1 with a 1.45 ERA in his last three starts and is 1-1 with a 3.24 ERA in four career games against the Phillies. The Dodgers are 6-2 in Billingsley's last 8 road starts.
Philadelphia counters with Roy Oswalt (6-13, 3.50 ERA). The right-hander is 0-2 with a 6.23 ERA in his last three starts and is 6-3 with a 3.47 ERA in nine career starts against the Dodgers. Oswalt is 4-0 with a 2.60 ERA in four starts at Citizens Bank Park.

The Dodgers defeated the Phillies, 15-9, in the opener at Citizens Bank Park, but I don’t believe Philadelphia will allow back to back wins in their house, especially against a miserable road team. Los Angeles is 1-5 in their last 6 games on the road and 2-9 in its last 11 at Citizens Bank Park. Go with Philadelphia in the City of Brotherly Love.

The total has gone 'over' in 6 of the last 7 meetings and 5 of the last 6 in Philadelphia.

THE DUKE SPORTSColorado (+107) for 2 Units

The Rockies have had trouble in NY but should fare well there tonight. Colorado, which has alternated wins and losses in 8 games, is 13-7 in game 2 of a series following a loss. The Rockies have also fared well vs lefties in which they are 24-17 against, including a 5-1 run; consequently, we'll look for them to tee off on Jonathon Niese who is sports a bloated 7.15 ERA in 2 starts vs Colorado. The Rockies' lineup should give starter --Jeff Francis the needed run support; after all, they're batting a sizzling .333 vs lefties over the last few weeks; at the same time, the Mets' lineup is struggling vs lefties (.200 BA); moreover, they're bullpen sports a lofty 6.43 ERA over that span. With the Rockies at 10-3 with Francis on Wednesdays and 15-7 with him vs the NLE, we'll grab Colorado here.

$300 Houston +129 Atlanta has the worst record in baseball in day games on the road against lefthanded starters (1-6) and Wandy is mowing them down recently like we are used to. Public will blindly back the first place Braves here, even though the Astros are 13-6 their last 19 home games and the Braves are 4-8 their last 12 road games.

$400 LA Dodgers/Philly under 8 Extreme offensive outburst last night with 32 hits and 24 runs combined by these 2 teams. Philly's 2 biggest offensive guns are on the shelf and the Dodgers were very recently in a terrible offensive funk. Oswalt is due for a gem for his new team and Billingsley is pitching as well as anybody in baseball right now.

$500 NY Mets -112 I have no idea what this line is about, the public must be in love with the Rockies or something cause the numbers I got on this game tell me the Mets should be -180! Mets are 11-1 their last 12 at home against lefty starters and Colorado is 2-9 their last 11 road games. Mets are 8-3 in Niese's 11 home starts this season and Francis has lost 3 of his last 4 on the road.

$400 Detroit -114 Tigers just recently were no-hit by today's starter Matt Garza who had lost 5 straight starts to the Tigers before that. In that same series the Tigers lost Verlander's start, which broke his perfect record against the Rays (Detroit was 6-0 vs. Tampa before that w/Veralnder). $WINNER$ (+400)

$300 Boston/Toronto under 8.5 (-125) Juice was tilted towards the over at 8 so I bought it up to 8.5.
