Buchholz has already set a career high in wins, going 5-0 with a 0.99 ERA in his last five starts. For CLE they will start Masterson, who has gone 2-12 since joining the team. He had lost 11 consecutive decisions before beating the White Sox on Friday. This is a much better lineup than that CHW team he did well against last time out. Aaron Harang opened the season allowing 22 runs in 20 innings, but since has settled down and has pitched to a much better 4.12 ERA. He has been most effective over his last two starts allowing a total of three runs. The Giants are 35-14-2 to the UNDER vs an opponent scoring two or less in their last game and game 3, which is usually the series finale, show them UNDER at a 33-16-3 clip with Sanchez leading the way at 9-0 to the UNDER.
