It's sad but Mr Unlucky always jump in the bandwagon of hot handicappers when they are at the end of a winning streak and gets mad because they lose. Just like buying a hot stocks when it's too high and too late to buy... On the other hand, maybe he jinx the cappers with his nickname !!! Sorry pal, but you attract bad luck and you should know why... Instead of trying to follow hot guys I think you should just follow Lang and play against him !!! Long term profit.
I do understand that but I tend to be a contrarian. Look at my old posts. I followed Sharp after he went 0-6 3 times and he went 7-3 or better the next 10 all 3 times. I tend to follow decent cappers after they had a rough patch - when most everyone else bails on them. I followed KBHoops last night on Illinois because he was on an 0-5 streak and I liked Illinois. Like frenchie said, go the other way when everyone else is following someone or jumps on after a long winning streak. For me, it works out more often than not. That Pit line and Marq line stunk but Marq got the push in OT. I followed Exec tonight since they went 0-3 the last 2 days and they did not come out with higher level picks to chase - they actually dropped them down. Hopefully, they can go 2-1. Anway, GL and hope your luck changes!
The problem is simple. I jumped on THREE very good cappers tonight who have been good for days if not weeks. Youngstown Connection (YC), Linechangers and Deano. Also tailing The Pro Gambler. YC has their first losing night in I don't know how long, Linechangers is 2-6 the last three days and is looking squarely at an 0-3 night. Deano already lost the Hawks and has the Jazz (losing) and Spurs (I am on OK City with Linechangers). I cannot win. If someone is hot and I jump on them, it is an AUTOMATIC losing night.
My friend one poster just said it, you can't only go with hot cappers on long winning streak and play them then you will lose long term. Best cappers will win 57-58 % of their games, if you wait for a winning streak to get on them you will get burned very fast because they will lose short term since they were hot and cannot hit higher than 60 % long term. It's mathematics guys can't be hot long term. When you start to hear on the forum that a guy is red hot it's usually the signal to stay away from him for a couple of days it's too late to follow. On the other hand, if a good capper is trashed on the forum because he is on cold streak it's time to take a close look at him.
Also use the fade material with notorious bad cappers, they are bad all the time. Be aware of GOY stuff specially from fly by night "hot guys" with no historic plays on the forum. GOY hit about 50 % of the time.
