"1 UNIT" NBA TOTAL (Cavaliers at Sixers OVER 194' in a 7:05 eastern tipoff): The oddsmakers were forced to "low ball" this total since Cleveland last night played below the spot for the 6th time in the past 8 games as they defeated horrible New Jersey by a 99-89 count at home. But it must be noted that 5 of the 7 losses by Cleveland this year have come against opposition with a below .500 record which means the Cavs at times have had problems concentrating in situations such as this. Even though they are led by the league's #2 scorer LeBron James, the Cavaliers are at their best when playing excellent defense as they are permitting on average just 94 points per game. I will admit that Philadelphia at home this season is scoring just 93 points per pop, but that all changed Monday night when the Sixers finally snapped an 0-12 skid and won for the first time since re-acquiring the services of Allen Iverson. On Monday the Sixers exploded offensively in a 117-101 romp where Iverson put up 20 points alone. What made that offensive output so amazing was Philadelphia's lead scorer Andre Iguodala suffering a bruised rib in the opening quarter and shooting just 4-for-20 from the field. For those of you who get to watch this game keep an eye out for Philadelphia rookie guard Jrue Holliday whose line on Monday (15 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 rebounds) was sensational. With big man and free-agent bust Elton Brand banished to the bench, Philadelphia will be able to play a more "up tempo" game
