Even after losing his best wideout Dante Love, he continues to put up big numbers. If he can limit his picks tonight, which I think he will, this is a cakewalk for the home team. Watch out tonight for this ranked and revenge minded Ball State team led by Junior QB Nate Davis to silence the critics with a big win over MAC Rival Northern Illinois.

Northern Illinois has dominated this series between these two teams with the Huskies compiling a 7-2 SU mark against Ball State including a 40-28 win on the road in Muncie in 2006.

The Huskies have won three in a row overall and four straight at Ball State. But this is a much improved Ball State team versus a Huskies squad that was just 2-10 in 2007 and themselves have not yet been tested in the MAC. Ball State is allowing only 15.5 ppg 13th fewest in the nation and will be looking to slow a Huskies running game that comes in averaging 184.2 ypg. Ball State slowed the Navy running game in a big win back on September 5th and I think they have the tools to slow this Northern Illinois running game.

Look at Ball State on the offensive side of the ball and know that the one-two punch of Nate Davis and MiQuale Lewis will be to much for this Huskies defense. Davis has had the Huskies number putting up sick numbers (50-73 for 624 yards and six TD's with no picks) in two games against Northern Illinois.

Davis, a junior is already the school's leading passer and is completing 66.7% of his passes this year while ringing up 15 TD's against only 4 picks. Meanwhile Lewis is seventh in the nation averaging 123.6 ypg. Northern Illinois has lost 5 straight against Top 25 teams and is just 1-3 on the road this year. Tonight they come to Muncie bringing a knife to a gunfight. This Ball State team is too talented and out to prove they are for real. The four game home losing streak to the Huskies ends tonight in dramatic fashion with a double digit Ball State win.

Take Ball State minus the points to win this one convincingly tonight.

u were looking for it earliar, it got posted awhile ago, and now u repost it? u could probably find lots of things u are looking for if u took the time to read. but thats just my opinion.

Kidman -- I was wondering the same thing. This guy begs for Ness, Burns, Iceman and Jefferson constantly and then when CPAW posts the play he is looking for, he posts it as if he got it. I don't get this guy but from what I've seen, he's not very well liked in many forums.
