3-0 on the season! 25-Star NBA Situational Slam Dunk - Wednesday!

NBA(707) MIAMI HEAT VS (708) ORLANDO MAGIC

Take708) ORLANDO MAGIC
Reason: 25* NBA Situational Slam Dunk: Orlando Magic.

Miami has played 13 games this season, but 9 of them at home. They are 2-2 SU on the road this season, and 0-2 ATS their last two road games, losing by 15 and 7 points. Miami has been playing bad basketball of late, on a 2-4 SU, 0-6 ATS run. Orlando is no easy place to play, a team that is 11-3 and tied with Atlanta for first place. This team has great depth, on a 5-0 SU, 4-1 ATS run without Jameer Nelson. Vince Carter scored 24 points, Dwight Howard had 17 points and 12 rebounds and the Magic won their fifth straight game, 104-96 over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. J.J. Re**** added 19 points, Jason Williams had 16 and Rashard Lewis added 11 for the Magic, who have won eight of 10. They are a motivated, together team: Dwight Howard and Stan Van Gundy had a heart-to-heart meeting last week in which Dwight told Stan that his negativity was having an adverse effect on the team. Stan agreed and the Magic have been playing looser and freer every since. Orlando is 12-1 SU, 11-2 ATS the last 13 meetings between these Florida Rivals, with an average margin of vistory of 13 points. In fact, the last six games in Orlando, the Magic are 6-0 both SU&ATS winning by 21 points per contest. Orlando gets up for this state rivalry game and usually rolls. And this season, they have the better, hotter team. Play the Magic.

Wednesday NBA Totals system GC

On Wednesday night the Free NBA system play is Over the total in the Denver at Minnesota game. Rotation numbers 713/14 at 8:05 eastern. What we want to do in this game is play the over when we have road favrites like Denver with no rest and favored by 5 or more points if they are coming off a home game as a favorite of -10 or more and they scored 100 or more, and are now taking on an opponent who played on the road in their last game, like Minnesota. When the posted total is 190 or more in these games, the over has cashed 17 of 21 times since 1995. Denver is unrested here and may not play as hard on the defensive end tonight. This plays into a Timberwolves team that needs to pick it up on the offensive end as they have struggled with their shooting of late. Look for this game to be an up and down game with good flow. On the late phone card we cashed another big 5 star last night. On Wednesday we have the NBA revenge game of the month from 2 huge systems and 2 big Power angles. In college hoops a solid Triple angle Blowout side in Tournament action. Take the Over in the Denver at Minnesota game. BOL GC

Wednesday's Selection ...
NOTE:

Projected # 6 QB in next's years draft my ass.

If ever I wondered about something shady going on with a College football game or player, just see Tim Hiller's performance last night against Ball State.

Dare I say "Art Schlichter" like.

Now understand, this is just me thinking out loud. I am not accusing anyone of anything, but I am just beside myself about what I witnessed in that game last night with whom scouts are calling the 6th best QB in next years draft.

How does Hiller, running the #24 pass offense in the country, at home on senior night, with 12 days to prepare for a 103 ranked pass defense in the country in Ball State put up that kind of performance last night.

4 INT's, two of which were throws a true freshman wouldn't make. If you watch or follow football you know exactly what I am talking about. Not the throws a senior QB would make.

HMMMMMMMMM.

I will take the loss with Western Michigan and move on but come guys, give me a better effort than that. On senior night. Trying to become bowl eligible. Fantastic way to end your career at home.

As embarrassing a home performance I can ever remember by any team in college football and my personal opinion of Mr. Hiller, prepare for the arena league and if he is lucky maybe Canada.

That is your last home game of your entire year, trying to get bowl eligible and extend my career one game so scouts can see a bit more of me and that is the performance I put up?

Time to move on.

My 2nd straight college basketball winner and then improving on the incredible 13-1-2 NFL run the last 3 weeks with paid and comp plays.

Let's keep the winning roll going.

10 DIME - DENVER PIONEERS - The Pioneers are ready to send a message to their neighbor from Wyoming tonight, much the way South Dakota State did already this year.

Like SDST, who returned all 5 starters from last year, Denver returns all 5 of their starters from last year.

SDST went into Wyoming and threw them a beat down to the tune of 77-61 with all 5 of those starters back from last year. Experience is crucial this early in the year.

Yes, Wyoming bounced back with a nice win over Boise State, but let's not put the cart before the horse regarding Boise. They play no defense.

This is the first true road game for a Wyoming squad that lost 80% of their scoring with the loss of back to back 4 year starters at point guard in Brandon Ewing and Sean Ogirri.

You take those two with departed forward Tyson Johnson and their goes over 46 points of scoring along with a whole lot of leadership.

Returning are starters Dfam Muojake, who has become their go to guy this year putting up 19, 26 and 18 points in their first 3 games this year.

Problem facing this team tonight is not only are you taking your inexperienced backcourt on the road for the first time but you are facing an even better team in Denver.

Making matters worse for Wyoming is facing the "Princeton" offense that will be run with precision with which this very experienced team will run it with at home.

In their 3 games this year Denver has played 3 teams that have all been picked to finish in the top 3 of their preseason league ratings.

They lost their opener at home to the preseason favorite in the Missouri Valley conference Northern Iowa 71-65 followed by a solid win over Arkansas Pine Bluff 75-56, picked to finish 3rd in the SWAC.

And let me point out that is an Arkansas Pine Bluff team that returned all 5 of their five starters from last year so it's not like they didn't have any talent.

Finally love their 7 point win over Montana last game out jumping to a 14 point half time lead and cruising in the 2nd half covering the -5 over the Grizzlies picked to finish 3rd in the Big Sky.

This is the year for Joe Scott and this Denver team to make some noise and with a team that knows each other so well, laying this number is the only way to go.

Denver rolls to the double digit win.

Game: Miami Heat @ Orlando Magic - Wednesday November 25, 2009 7:35 pm
Pick: 3 units TOTAL: Under 192 (-110)

Ai Simulator 3* graded play UNDER Miami/Orlando set to start at 7:00 EST. AiS shows a 74% probability that 193 or fewer points will be scored in this game. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 114-69 for 62% victories since 2004.
Play under with any team after being beaten by the spread by 36 or more points total in their last five games and with a victorious record on the season playing another victorious team. AiS reveals that Orlando will not shoot lights out from behind the arc. AiS shows a 90% probability that Orlando will shoot between 32 and 38% from behind the arc. Note that Orlando is 24-13 UNDER (+9.7 Units) when they make 32% to 38% of their three point attempts in a game over the last 2 seasons. Orlando is also 27-15 UNDER (+10.5 Units) versus good shooting teams making >=46% of their shots over the last 2 seasons. Miami is a solid 14-4 UNDER (+9.6 Units) in road games when playing only their 2nd game in 5 days over the last 3 seasons. Take the UNDER.

3 Unit Play. #726 Take South Florida -8 over Kent State (7 pm) The Bulls have gotten off to a good start in 2009 and their 4-1 record is much more impressive that Kent State’s 4-1 record. The Flashes must replace three starters from last year and this is the first of a four game road trip. Last year they were just 5-9 on the road and they will suffer a double digit loss on Wednesday.

3 Unit Play. #732 Take Pacific +2 over San Diego State (10 pm Big West TV) The Spanos Center is always a tough place to play and the Aztecs are not as strong in 2009 as they have been the last couple of years. The Tigers have been holding opponents under 59 points per game and will complete the season sweep of the San Diego schools tonight.

3 Unit Play. #738 Take Virginia -2 over Cleveland State (7 pm CBS College Sports) The Cavilers took Stanford to the wire last night and the Vikings played a terrible game against Kentucky last night. In that game, the Vikings shot just 27% and now they face a tough defensive team in Virginia, coached by Tony Bennett. Sylven Landesberg is the best player on the floor and expect him to go for twenty points.

3 Unit Play. #743 Take Maryland -1 over Wisconsin (4:30 pm ESPN 2) Granted when you pick Maryland you never really know what you will get, but this game means a lot more to them then it does Wisconsin. Maryland does not want to leave the island with a 1-2 record with their only win coming against Chaminade. Wisconsin already has a win against Arizona and does not have the talent to match-up with Maryland physically.

3 Unit Play. #748 Take Gonzaga -1 ½ over Cincinnati (10 pm ESPN) The Bulldogs looked really impressive last night against Wisconsin and I expect them to take the crown in the 2009 Maui Invitational. Both teams have strong inside presence but I believe the guards for the Zags are better and that will be the difference in this game. Since the WCC is a weak conference, the Zags need all of the wins that they can get in the non-conference portion of the season to receive a high seed come tournament time. We will side with Mark Few and company this evening.

3 Unit Play. #771 Take Montana State +7 over San Francisco (10 pm) The Dons have been blown out twice this year and I just do not believe that they warrants this type of a number tonight against Montana State in the Bay Area. The Bobcats are beaten the Dons in 2 of the 3 lifetime meetings and will take this game down to the wire tonight behind Bobby Howard and company.

5-Unit Play NBA Game of the Week #702 Take Charlotte -2 1/2 Over Toronto (7 p.m. EST, Wednesday)

Think this is a real great spot for the Bobcats tonight. This team has dropped seven of their last eight and confidence is very low right now from the public and bookmakers. However, they have had a pretty tough schedule. Of their seven losses, five came on the road and the home losses came against Portland and Orlando, two solid playoff teams. Those two home losses to strong teams represent the only home losses for this team yet this season (4-2). This team has stunk on the road but they always seem to play well at home. Another team that stinks on the road? Yes, Toronto. They are just 2-6 this season in road contests and the only road teams they have beat were New Orleans and LA Clippers. Charlotte comes in with two nights rest while the Raptors will have played three games in four nights after tonight. Charlotte has covered three straight in this series and four of the last five and they also are a great bet at home as they have compiled a 19-8 ATS record in their last 27 home games stretching back to last season. We see this as a close game throughout with the home team pulling away against a fatigued Raptors squad in the fourth quarter.

3-unit Play #703 Take LA Clippers +6 Over Indiana (7 p.m. EST, Wednesday)

Eric Gordon (game-time decision) could be back tonight and Indianapolis is his home town so we think that will give the team more motivation to get him out on the court after he was active last game out against Minnesota yet relegated to the bench. The Clippers have really been lacking a spark since his injury and we think they will be a solid play for his first few games back. This guy, in his second year, is really a key to this team (he is averaging 19 PPG this season) but the casual NBA fan doesn’t give his absence much credit. However, we are not making this pick just on the hope that Gordon goes tonight, but Indiana really doesn’t deserve to be this type of chalk over any team, not even the Clippers. LA has covered four of the last five in this series. The Pacers are just one game better (3-4) than the Clippers on the road (2-4). We see this as a close game regardless of Gordon’s status but the sophomore player might be the lift the Clips need for a straight-up win if he is able to go.

MREAST NCAAB WEDNESDAY TORCHER

#763 ARIZONA ST. SUN DEVILS @ #764 DUKE BLUE DEVILS 9:30PM EST
PLAY ON #764 DUKE BLUE DEVILS -9 -110 FOR 3 UNITS

The Arizona St. Sun Devils had a big year last season, riding the talent of what would be 2 NBA 1st round draft picks in James Harden, and Jeff Pendergraph. That duo combined for 35 points and 14 rebounds, and 46 wins the last 2 years, while the previous 3 years saw a combined 37 wins. They are going to struggle this season, especially vs a team as talent rich as Duke. Duke always has an abundance of talent coming and going, and it is the reason that one of the worst years at Duke, is on the level with one of the best years at ASU. The big problem for Duke was supposed to be at guard, but enter a vastly improved Nolan Smith (22ppg), and a freshamn that through early enrollment entered the program a year early in Andre Dawkins (11.5pp), and that issue is gone. Freshman Miles Plumlee is scoring 10.7 a game, pulling down 5.5 boards, to compliment Singler, and Zoubek. The Dukies have more talent in every spot, including the bench. Duke gets this one.
