Service Plays Wednesday 1/7/08

I follow Youngstown Connection as most of you know and a few others. Youngstown was the only capper I saw that had Gonzaga tonight. I looked at their site after their game went off and took Zags at the 1/2.

They seem to play a lot of dogs or short priced favorites, had a nice NHL winner in the Habs tonight as well. Thier loser was pretty bad with Northwestern but they go 2-1 and win 1.1 units based on their 1 unit system.

Anyone watching this USC/Texas BCS game from a few years back. Talk about a jinx how many people said USC up 38-26 with 6 minutes to go was over? I bet a lot did. It's on ESPN Classic.

I was going to post the same thing. As bad as the NW call was, the Gonzaga call was just as great. I think everyone thought Tennessee would cover since the number was so low, but I guess Youngstown saw through that line. The more I follow them the more I think line moves, or non-moves, are a big basis on who they pick. If that's the case, I like them even more than I did before.

Agreed. I think it may even get close to 7. It shows you that the public must love Florida because that line has been out for about a month, but it's just now going up. It's funny how the betting public doesn't even look at the lines on these bowl games until a day or two before they kickoff.

And I don't care if the public is on Florida or not, I'm on them big. I think they're the better team and will win by 10 or more.

i hope so. florida is my biggest bet of the year. and if they cover im eyeing a few ML plays for this weekends playoff games.

i wouldnt say people are just now looking at the game, i think its more so everyone who is down is looking to recover all their losses from the bowl season and are choosing florida to do it.
