Washington Wizards vs. Phoenix Suns

10* Phoenix Suns -6½-102
This game features the 31-15 Wizards and the 26-20 Suns. The Suns come into tonight in a must win situation and well rested and playing at home. Suns have lost 2 straight while the Wizards have won 2 straight. Suns have had two days off and the Wizards are on a 4 games in 5 night stretch and are on a getaway night as this is the last game of a 4 game west trip so I believe they will be ready to head home tonight as well as being exhausted. Suns have to win now if they want to be in the post season so expect them firing on all cylinders tonight take the Suns minus the points for a 10* winner.

January 28: Sacramento {A} bet

January 28: Portland {A} bet

All bets labeled with either {B} or {C} are Exterminator system plays. Bet a flat percentage of your bankroll as instructed in the system manual.

Since you're a member of my Exterminator system, make sure to follow the guidelines below:
- All {A} bets are not part of the Exterminator system. Unless, however, if you have the ability to buy 3 points at -170 odds, then it is strongly advisable to place a small wager on all the {A} bets with buying 3 points, up to 5% of your bankroll. This is an optional betting strategy, which has proven to be a profitable one based on my research. Buying 3 points on {A} bets has won over 65% of the time over the years, so you should bet on {A} bets if you can buy 3 points at -170 odds.
-All {B} and {C} bets are qualified under both the original NBA system as well as the Exterminator system. For the Exterminator system, bet a flat percentage of your bankroll on both {B} and {C} bets. You do not need to buy any points on these bets under the Exterminator system.
- Remember to bet on the point spread (handicap line)
- If your team is a favorite, bet on the money line. If the team is a big favorite resulting in odds that are too unfavorable for you to be comfortable with, then you can either optionally skip the series, or bet on the point spread plus 3 points as normal (only applicable under the original NBA system), but do not continue betting on the series if your team wins the game but the bet does not cover.
Always consider the injury and the best/worst road team filters. Check the injuries to ensure your team's best player isn't out. I will always make my best effort to notify you of game-changing injuries whenever I am aware of them to ensure that you don't make wagers on team that don't pass the injury filter. However, I cannot make guarantees that I will always be able to be on top of every single injury, every game, every day, at all times. Some teams may hold off on releasing relevant injury information until much later in the day. A bet will be unofficial if it does not pass the filters of the system. Ultimately as a bettor, I always strongly encourage that if there's any uncertainty about the status of your team's best player for a game that you always check on final injury updates.
Good luck,
Tony Chau, author of the best-selling Exterminator Betting System

Georgia Tech @ MIAMI
#770 Georgia Tech +9½ -106 over MIAMI

9:00 PM EST. One of our favorite angles is to fade teams that just made it into the Coaches Poll and/or the AP Top-25. That applies to the Hurricanes. Miami wasn’t ranked last week in either poll but victories over Duke, N.C. State and Syracuse in three of its last four games has catapulted them all the way to #23 in both polls. The reason this fade makes sense and has shown a profit for years is because teams that are ranked are almost always overpriced when playing unranked programs. Schools that “just got in” are always hot or on a run and when you combine that with their sudden ranking, you are going to pay a premium to wager on that team. Furthermore, these are kids, not pros and so they get a little too jacked up once they see their school’s name in the polls. What it means is recognition, more exposure and the expectation to perform or live up to its “new found” fame. Give the ‘Canes credit for some outstanding performances but after games against Notre Dame, Duke, Virginia, N.C. State and Syracuse and subsequently getting into the polls, Miami figures to take a giant breather here before upcoming games against FSU and #10 Louisville.

The Yellow Jackets are dead last in the ACC with a record of 0-7 but aside from a brutal shooting performance against the Cavaliers in a 57-28 loss, Tech has been in every other game. They’ve played Notre Dame twice and lost one of those in double OT and the other by three points. The Yellow Jackets also lost to Syracuse by one point, to Pitt by five points and to Boston College by two points. Georgia Tech is one of the top rebounding teams in the conference and while they struggle in many other areas, their bigs are good enough to keep them in games. The Yellow Jackets haven’t been able to finish off teams but they’ve proven on more than once occasion that they can compete with the elite in the conference. Tech is just 9-10 overall this season but almost all of their losses have been single digit defeats and we expect them to be in this one right to the end as well.

Our Pick
#770 Georgia Tech +9½ -106 (Risking 2.12 units - To Win: 2.00)

St. John’s @ CREIGHTON
CREIGHTON +105 over St. John’s

This one sets up perfectly for the Bluejays to get their first Big East win of the year. Creighton is 0-8 in the conference and overall they have dropped nine in a row. To the general public, Creighton has zero appeal here as a tiny pooch at home against a Red Storm team that was ranked as high as #15 earlier in the year. To make matters worse for the Bluejays, they lost guard Isaiah Zierden for the season when he was injured against Butler last Wednesday. In Creighton’s first game without Zierden this past Saturday, they lost to Villanova by 21. Zierden was the teams’ second leading scorer. On a current run of 0-9 and losing one of its top players, Creighton is going to be a huge fade here after so many watched the Johnnies nearly knock off Duke on Saturday. This one has trap written all over it in giant letters.

We can’t stress enough how much nationally televised games influence bettors and the line. St. John’s had a nice lead over Duke in the second half on Sunday before blowing it and everyone that wagered on Duke (-6½) had pretty much written their bet off. That game sticks out for bettors, as St. John’s nearly pulled off the upset against the most wagered on team in college basketball. Trust us when we tell you that the millions that watched that game on Sunday are not betting against the Johnnies here. Au contraire my friends but be warned. If you were thinking of spotting the short price, we’re cautioning you to be careful. St. John’s is going the wrong way. That game against Duke on Sunday was not only mentally and physically draining for the Red Storm, it very likely killed their chances of making it to the dance in March. St. John’s gave it everything they had but came up short again. That’s nothing new for the Johnnies, as they have come up short in every other big game they’ve played this season. St. John’s has shown a propensity for being undisciplined, sloppy and extremely inconsistent. They just don’t have the maturity to bounce back from a season killing defeat like the one they suffered on Sunday. Losing to Duke is nothing to hang your head over but there’s a huge difference from getting blown out from start to finish and letting one get away. The Johnnies were flying high on Sunday and had the Dukies on the ropes before blowing it. The oddsmakers are betting they don’t recover here and that’s the side we want to be on as well.

Our Pick
CREIGHTON +105 (Risking 2 units - To Win: 2.10)
