I live in Vegas...work in a casino...Football Jesus is not B.S.ing you about what he says. He is in the book often and is very in touch with the Vegas sports wagering world. I dont agree with his marketing standard, but I assure you he is not in any basement and is very much in touch with what is being wagered and where.

Uuuummm... Didn't bet any game today and just looking at this thread now, but I went and looked at this game, and Seattle was up 3-0 in the 9th, with David Aardsma pitching (1.41 ERA coming into today). Aardsma gave up 3 ER and 5 total runs as the Mariners lost 5-3..
I am not a fan of Ness at all but that's unfair to rip him up for this. He was on the right side. I'll take a 3-0 spot in the 9th with a 1.41 ERA pitcher on the mound 365 days out of the year. To say that Baltimore was the play of the year is absolutely the most ridiculous thing I've heard in this thread in a while.
Baseball is PURE variance, from pitching performance to where groundballs roll to where fly balls land. This is why it is not a purely profitable sport to bet, because this stuff happens a ton. Football season baby, thats another story but I can't wait.

I'm no pro capper but if your asking, I like FLORIDA -125 tomorrow on the road, YUSMEIRO PETIT is about as good as seattle's bullpen ... come to think of it I cant remember the last time he won a game. I will be taken FLORIDA for sure in the 5 inning line and likely the game as well :toast:
