What a disappointing season it has been for this Notre Dame team that has at times been horrible on defense. They'll go down by at least a dozen points to a better rested West Virginia looking to bounce back from last Saturday's home loss to Louisville. The Mountaineers' Alex Ruoff was terrible in that close loss to the Cards, but just as he did in his team's earlier 11-point win over the Irish, he'll be banging down three balls all over the court tonight as the Mountaineers romp. Notre Dame was sluggish in last night's win over Rutgers, which was a five-point game with under a minute to play. West Virginia won't shoot 33% from the floor like the Scarlet Knights did on Tuesday. The Mountaineers, 5-2 SU last seven, will get a big game inside from Da'Sean Blair as he was a big reason why West Virginia out-rebounded the Irish by a dozen in the first meeting. Outside of Luke Harangody (who missed 14 of 17 shots Tuesday) Notre Dame has no reliable or consistent scorer. The Mountaineers do get points from different sources and they'll roll over this ND club that went just 3-8 SU and 4-7 ATS as a dog this year. Mountaineers by at least a dozen points.
