Tonight at 7:05 the Toronto Blue Jays host the struggling Texas Rangers in game 2 of a 4 game series. Texas has lost 5 in a row and 7 of their last 9 and what was a huge lead in the AL West is now shrinking fast. Texas may still have a 7 game lead but based on their play lately it's not a demanding lead by any stretch of the imagination. Toronto has really had the Rangers number this season winning 6 out of the 7 previous meetings while outscoring them 48-26. We do not see Toronto's dominance of Texas ending anytime soon, especially with the generous pitching matchup that has been set before them for tonight's matchup.Scott Feldman (6-9, 5.43) takes the mound for Texas in place of the injured Cliff Lee. Feldman hasn’t pitched since Aug. 21 due to a right knee injury. He allowed two runs over four innings in a rehab appearance with Texas' Triple-A affiliate Oklahoma City on Wednesday. Feldman’s last win as a starter came June 18 at Houston and he has not started a game since July 24. Taking the mound for the Blue Jays tonight will be Shaun Marcum (11-7, 3.53) who will try to make good on an opportunity to match his career high in wins set in 2007. In his last 2 starts Marcum has only given up 2 earned runs in 12 innings while striking out 11 respectively. The right-hander seems to be heating up as of late boasting a 1.93 ERA in his last 4 starts. Despite their struggles overall Toronto has been very strong at home with a 37-29 record going into tonight's matchup while Texas has been not so hot on the road going 32-36 overall while losing 10 out of their last 14 on the road. The Rangers have lost 6 in a row at the Rogers Centre and with All Star Left Fielder Josh Hamilton sitting this one out due to bruised ribs we are very confident that streak will be extended to 7 games while the Rangers continue to trip and fall on their way the finish line which is the AL West Crown. Look for a strong outing from Shawn Marcum and the Toronto Blue Jays tonight.

Premium Selection: 1 Dime Toronto Blue Jays -175

San Diego Padres -133

The Padres finally broke out of their slump last night after losing 10 straight games in a row. Tonight, they are going against a great pitcher in Clayton Kershaw, but Mat Latos has pitched even better this year with a 2.08 ERA at home and he has been on fire in his last three starts. Look for the Padres to post another win to distance themselves from that horrible slump. Take San Diego.

San Francisco Under (8) for 2 Units

Two light hitting teams vs two pitchers who are on their game. Lincecum regained his pitching form in his last start and should follow up strong here; after all, he sports a 2.61 ERA in 12 starts vs AZ. Over the last two weeks, the Diamondbacks are batting just .259 vs righties. Meanwhile, Barry Enright has been on a tear with a 5-0 mark with a 2.18 ERA over 9 starts. Enright is 1-5 O/U at home. And over the last few weeks, the Giants are batting a lethargic .210 vs righties. SF is 5-12 O/U on the road in this 'total' range and 1-6 O/U overall. We'll look for a low run producing game.
