what do you think about Bob Akmens 10* totals. Last 3-5 days I only saw 4*.. It means what today he is takeing hardly? :think2:

Not sure if I understand your question, but remember his unit ratings are often for marketing purposes. Also, Mr. Akmens may rate his plays a certain way on his site, and another site that is selling his plays may give it a completely different rating. Is that confusing enough? :ohno:

Cubs /Braves

Play : 3 * Cubs -160

I am firmly onthe Cubs tonight and arguably one of the best pitchers in the majors Rich Harden to get the Win over the Braves and Charlie Morton .The Cubs are playing solid ball winning 4 of their last 5 Ballgames , including 2 of those 3 wins against the Red Hot Astros .Rich Harden Takes to the Hill for the Cubs tonight and he has not missed a beat since
coming over fron the AL . His ERA is tremendous at 2.10 and the Cubs have won in 5 of his last 7 starts .On the Road he has done some of his best work with a (1-1) record an a 1.29 ERA .How about his strikeout to walk ration of 19 SO and only 2 Walsk ,with a WHIP of o.64 . His control has been pinpoint and since coming to the Cubs he has only alowed 9 walks in 4 starts .The Braves have seemingly strightened out their road woes lately and it seems that the problems have been at Turner field . In their last nine Home games the Braves are (2-7) .Starting pitcher Charlie Morton has had his own problem at Turner where he has gone (0-4) with an ERA of over 8 .He has also surrendered 10 more hits than Innings pitched . In conclusion as much as I don't like laying this much wood on the road I feel it's justified as we certainly have the better pitcher and the better team as welll .

D'Rays / A'S

Play : 2 * D'Rays -160

Tonight I am going with the D'rays as my second choice with Scott Kazmir on the Hill to face Gio Gonzalez for the A'S .The Rays are absolutely on fire after winning 8 of their last 10 and setting a franchise record with their 71 st win the other night .The A'S on the other hand, where do I begin they have lost 2 in a row and 9 of their last 10 .They are hitting under .250 against both Lefties and Righties , and in their last 10 games the team Average has continued to plumit to a drop over .200 .This is a team in complete dissaray .Kazmir has been very good this year
going (8-5) with the D'Rays a healthy (13-5) in Kazmirs starts .Although he has slipped up a bit lately I full expect him to have a terrific performance against arguably one of the worst teams in baseball .Kazmir did beat the A'S the last 2 times he faced them , and I don't see anything different happening today with the A'S starters surrendering on Average over 6 Runs per start .
The Rays are the way to go here .

Bonus Play Selection
Los Angeles Angels

The Angels open a two-game set tonight agasint the league's worst team, the Seattle Mariners. The Angels look to continue to dominate at home where they are 36-22 on the year. They send Jon Garland to the mound who is 10-7 on the year with a 4.28 ERA. He is 6-3 lifetime versus the Mariners with an ERA of 3.39. This is a high price for Garland aginst anyone, even the Mariners, which is one of the reason's why I love this game tonight! Let's take pitching out of it for right now and just look at some other numbers. The Angels are 14-3 in their last 17 home games. They are 22-7 in their last 29 games vs a left-handed starter.
They are 42-19 in their last 61 games overall. They are 105-45 their last 150 games vs. teams below .400. Should I continue? What that means is it doesn't matter who the Angels have throwing for them tonight, they are just that good. But just for fun, let's look at Seattle. They send Jarrod Washburn to the mound who is 5-11 with a 4.76 ERA. The Mariners are 6-16 in his starts this season. He is 0-2 versus the Angels this year with a 6.35 ERA. The Mariners are 5-23 in Washburn's last 28 starts on grass. They are 9-24 in his last 33 starts overall. They are 1-7 in Washburn's last 8 starts as a road underdog of 151-200. The Mariners are 0-12 after allowing 9 runs or more this season and 0-9 after allowing 10 runs or more. They are 1-4 in their last 5 overall and 2-9 in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a home winning percentage greater than .600. The truth is in the numbers and they tell us that the Angels should easily win this game! And the juice only matters if you lose so don't worry about the price here! Chris James Bonus Play Selection is on the Los Angeles Angels

What do you think of the GOY on LAA (Hitman) and LAD (Steam Online)? I don't know if I should put a lot. LA teams always scare me.
