This team is expected to contend for the Eastern Conference title, so I expect them to rise to their level of talent in this one. One of those OT losses was to this same New York team, so expect the Dream to play with an extra edge here. The Dream have been the best road team in the WNBA of late when it comes to grabbing the cash, as they are 8-1 ATS in their last nine dating back to last season. The Liberty is not a good bounce-back team at 0-4 ATS following a straight up loss. Atlanta gets this one.

They allowed 7 runs to Milwaukee, but in the other six games have allowed just 9 runs, or 1.5 per game. The Braves should be a bit worn down as they head home after a 12-game road trip. The Mets are 6-1 in their last seven vs. a right-hand starter, and are getting it done vs. top-flight pitching at 4-1 in their last five vs. a starter with a WHIP of less than 1.15.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs
A solid NL Central rivalry is set to go Tuesday night when the Chicago Cubs welcome the Milwaukee Brewers into Wrigley Field where the NL Central’s new #1 top dog will look to improve upon its poor road marks.

The Brew Crew entered Monday night’s series opener on the Northside of Chicago in excellent form having just swept the St. Louis Cardinals at Miller Park to claim the top overall spot in the division for the first time this season. Monday night’s game pending; Manager Ron Roenicke’s outfit has secured wins in eight of its L/10 games played ($270) and has won seven of its L/9 three or more game series played. The offense has finally started to come around on a more consistent basis with the team now scoring 4.35 RPG (#12) while launching 76 home runs (#4).

As good as it’s going in the “Land of Cheese” for the Brewers, the same can’t and won’t be said about the Chicago Cubs who look to be in the midst of having their season spin out of control. After leading the Cubs to a 24-13 record after taking over for Lou Piniella on an interim basis last season, manager Mike Quade has seen his squad already lose a season high eight games in a row. Chicago has dropped 13 of its 15 games played since May 30th, and it’s currently the worst bet in the NL coming in ranked 29th on the money list costing those that have been insane enough to back them a whopping $1472 heading into Monday’s series opener.

The Brewers won two of these division rivals three Miller Park meetings earlier in April after dropping nine of the team’s 15 overall battles a season ago. Milwaukee has won Game 2 of a series each of the L/7 times and have come out on the right side of the scoreboard in six of Yovani Gallardo’s L/7 overall starts. Chicago’s dropped two of Randy Wells’ L/3 starts since returning from the DL and are just 2-6 his L/8 starts vs. NL Central opposition. The ‘over’ is 20-8-2 the L/30 times these clubs went at it on the corner of Sheffield and Addison.
