Are you kidding me that you dont know why? Have you not watched ONE game of the play-offs this year? Are you 15 years old and your ears perked up when you heard that the Celtics were getting all these points?
Let me tell you a couple things about this game and why you are totally foolish for not understanding why the Lakers are the right side tonight.
First, lets begin with the fact that Kobe will probably be on the FT line about 20 times with the fact they have complained about officiating the entire series. Phil Jackson has already played his foul calling card. Tonight, it wille ven out big time.
Secondly, lets talk about the fact that the Celtics do not have a viable PG option when they are on teh road. Rondo is a completly different player away from home.
Third, how about teh fact that Ray Allen has only produced one time on the road since the Atlanta series, and is now being annoited as a great shooter again.
Fourth, how about the fact that role players win games at home and star players win games on the road. PP will get his points tonight, but KG has shown time and time again that he goes away in big playoff games on the road. The Lakers role players will excel tonight in front of their home crowd, while the high-energy Boston players will find themselves in foul troubel by the 2nd quarter.
The thing you fail to understand is all the extra things that are going on in this game. This is a great spot for the Lakers to come out hard charging and get big contributions from the players that have hurt them so far this series. Pau has shown the ability to score on Garnett, and the role players will play a much larger role tonight.
I bet you got so jacked up when you saw this line that you didnt even look to realize that Joey Crawford and Bennet Slavatore are doing this game tonight. Do you know that all 3 refs have home teams with winning records ATS this season? Do you knwo that the Lakers have won 9 of their L10 games in which Salvatore has officated. He si teh biggest Lakers homer ref in teh laegue, and Stern has him on this game for that exact fact.
Stop looking at just the line, and try capping the game a little.
Celtics 89
Lakers 105
Sorry, dude... but all of those are foolish traps and opinion.
1) Kobe won't be at the line just because Phil Jackson barked about the refs. If anything, they should stick to the rules moreso and if he is fouled, it will be a foul... if not, then it won't and PJ can complain about it tomorrow.
2) Saying someone is a different player on the road vs. home is stupid. He is the same player but you have decided to put some bias in your analysis as you seek for confirmation of what you wanted to do anyway.
3) Ray Allen is a great shooter. He's one of the best shooters in the NBA. The fact that he is on the road doesn't mean he's going to start shooting with his left hand. He played in LA plenty of times throughout his career. He's a good player and a top notch shooter.
4) Complete speculation. Might want to watch it on that or you will be accused of manipulating the market like everyone in commodities.
If the Celtics win tonight, I will look for you to explain what happened. If the Lakers win and your predictions prove true, I will admit to it and take your analysis into consideration in the future.
