Iowa State Cyclones -3.5 over OK State
Iowa State has owned this series recently as they just have a better match-up with OK State than the Cowboys do with them. The 4 Guard lineup that Iowa State employs is just hard to stay with as they have length and speed along with 4 guys on the court who make shots from anywhere. OK State could not control them in the first meeting in their own building. I do not see them being able to control them on the road tonight in what will be an emotional building due to senior night.
Iowa State is off a very impressive win Vs Baylor the other day where they fought hard to get the lead in the 2nd half and then held on. They have won 5 straight games and their defense has been solid in 4 of those games. They did give up 80 against Texas Tech but the Red Raiders got 7 points in overtime so this is a team right now that can score the ball from all areas on the court and they are playing D.
OK State comes in playing good ball as well as they have won 5 straight games also as well as 10 out of 11. I take nothing away from them. However, this team averages 7 points per game less on the road then they do at home and they allow 75 points per game on the road vs the 65 points per game Iowa State allows at home.
Iowa State wore this team down in the first meeting with their speed. I see more of the same this evening. It might be close for the first half but as the game goes on OK State will begin to fade. I am looking for a 10 point win from Iowa State this evening and I am risking all my March Revenue on the fact that this team will get it done. Lets go get a big winner
