try and eliminate the emotion man.. . Make it one long marathon & daily grind. Especially if you are a former athlete . Do not let the competitive juices get the best of ya ...the bottom line is to produce a profit....

This is excellent advice. I think too many people hop around from hot capper to hot capper, and that can be dangerous. Or when people load up on a certain play just because a tout is hyping it up big time.
I'll be the first to admit that I get way too invested in the games I play. I have a hard time letting go of losses, especially if they are bad beats. I think I do a pretty good job of not chasing and sticking to good money management, but I get way too worked up over losses. And I tend to be a perfectionist, so if I win 9 out of 10 games I'm probably going to focus on the game I lost, not the 9 I won.
