Indian Cowboy Update for Tuesday..
Ohio vs. Temple<?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O /><O></O>
<O></O>
Note that the line here is Temple -3 as around 60% of the public favors the small home chalk here. Temple and Ohio are both 2-5 and there is a reason why the line is as low as it is. Of course, keep in mind that Ohio's quarterback Boo Jackson has thrown for 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions while passing for more than 1300 yards while both Temple Quarterbacks have combined to throw for 9 interceptions. I have to be honest with you, I have never been a fan of the dual quarterback system such as what Spurrier ran a bit and what Temple is running here between DiMichelle and Stewart. Heck, these guys have combined for 10 interceptions. Ohio comes off a big win at Kent State where they were favored by 1 point as they ended up winning that agme on the road 26-19. Temple, comes off a dissappointing loss at Central Michigan as they return home. Thus, Temple is on the bounce-back here, but once again, it's not like they do not lose home games as they lost to Western Michigan 3-7 at home back on September 27th. But, Temple does have revenge as Ohio won last year by a score of 23-7 at home as they easily covered the 9 point spread. Thus, I like Ohio here a bit, but of course, Temple has revenge and are at home. There is conflicting research here. As per the total, there is conflicting evidence once again as I lean on the under, but with that being said Ohio could very well be an active dog and win outright. Yet, it is a conference game which typically means it leans on the under. Thus, I am staying as far away as I can with this game.
