OAKLAND +105 (2 UNITS) - Until Dustin Mosely shows me something, he is high on my fade list. Tough to like a guy who in Triple A last season had an ERA of 6.94 and WHIP of 1.58 and allowed 23 HR's in 116.7 innings. He started last year as the Angel's 5th starter and was roughed up with similar He has consistently allowed a high rate of hits per inning and high rates of home runs in his stints in the majors and minors and despite having a 4 pitch repertoire, he has not proved he is a major league pitcher. Mosely comes in off a decent spring with a 3.75 ERA, but I'm not sold. Trevor Cahill is a 21 year old high ranking prospect with a sinking fastball in the low 90's, outstanding curveball and solid changeup, with excellent command. In Single and Double A the past two years, he tossed 229.7 innings and allowed just 161 hits, an astonishing 8 HR's and a 253:90 K:BB ratio. The A's should stack up a lot better tonight against a righthander with Sweeney, Chavez, Giambi, Cust and Barton. The A's may have the better bullpen and I still think the Angels are a lot closer to the rest of the pack in the AL West this year.
