In his last outing Billingsley struck out 8, gave up only 1 Hit and 1 Run in a 1-0 loss to the Diamondbacks last week,. I see the Dodgers Bats coming to life tonight as they have averaged only a poor 2.7 RPG at home this year, however against Leftys they are averaging almost 4 RPG. SP Baumgartner is 0-6 in 10 games on the year with a 4.25 ERA. Billingsley has a GREAT 1.24 ERA in his home starts, and can bat too. Lets back the Hot Batting Rays tonight to go into Toronto and win again. The Rays currently own the Best Road Record in MLB, and in fact have won 12 of 13 on the road. Tampa Bay will send Wade Davis who is 4-3 with a 3.47 ERA to the mound trying to regain his momentum. The right-hander was charged with a 6-0 loss to Baltimore on Saturday, allowing four runs and seven hits -- two homers -- in 5 1/3 innings. He'd gone 4-0 with a 2.56 ERA in his five prior outings, so after the Loss at Baltimore we can expect him to be in great form today. SP Romero for the Jays Romero is 0-2 with a 4.58 ERA over his last three home starts, and has recieved little to no run support in his appearances. He lost 2-0 to Tampa Bay on April 24, when he gave up two runs and struck out 10 over seven innings while Toronto's offense was four-hit by SP James Shields. Currently The Rays are 7-1 on the Road when the total is between 8 - 8.5, 14-5 in all road games, 16-9 in night games, 15-9 off a win, and 7-3 against Leftys on the year.
