Temple beat Villanova 75-65 LY, ending four-game series losing streak, with all four losses by 8+ points. Owls been off for eight days- they've won last six games, are 2-1 as a dog this season. 10-1 Villanova has Big East opener vs Rutgers in three days; they're 4-4 as a favorite. Big East single digit home favorites are 11-13 vs spread.

Green Bay won six of last seven games vs Detroit; they beat Titans LY by 2 points in both regular season meetings, then lost by 9 to Detroit in Horizon tourney. 7-6 Detroit is 1-4 vs spread as favorite this year; they won Horizon opener 78-69 vs Wright State. Green Bay is 1-3 on road, with losses by 20 at Marquette, 14 at Buffalo, 14 at Wisconsin.

Home side won last 10 Milwaukee-Wright State games; Panthers lost last five visits here, by 5-26-2-10-5 points. Milwaukee is 2-3 on road, losing by 21 at Wisconsin, 14 at DePaul, 20 at Portland, with wins by 17 at Niagara, 12 at South Dakota State. Cajuns are 2-3-1 vs spread as underdogs. Denver won its last two games after a 2-9 start; they're 1-3 against the spread when favored.

Arizona won last four games vs Oregon; they're 5-2 in last seven visits here, winning last two by 10-14 points; Wildcats are 11-2, 2-1 on road, winning by 27 at Rice, 10 at NC State but losing by 22 at BYU. Long Beach State won four of last five games vs Cal Poly; they've won four of last five visits here, winning by 13-3-3-6 points- visitor is 4-1 in last five series games. 49ers played hardest non-conference schedule in country, and were rewarded with win at UCSB in Big West opener that avenged their loss in LY's Big West conference tournament.

Pacific won last four games vs Fullerton by 15-19-7-6 points; Tigers are 5-2 in last seven visits here, with four of five wins by six points or less. Pacific is just 6-5 vs D-I teams, 3-4 on road, with wins at Northridge by 10, UTEP by 5, Fresno by 10. Arizona State won last six games vs Oregon State, winning last three in this gym by 19-31-9 points; Sun Devils won last four games but have been shaky, beating NC A&T by 6, Nevada by 3. So. Fla./Clemson under 51 & Notre Dame/Mia. Fla. under 57.5 & Notre Dame +13 $400 Lines currently available at BetUS. I like both these games to be low scoring and adding the 10 points gets us up to numbers that all these teams rarely played up to this year. Clemson did not play a game all year that totaled over 51 points, and Notre Dame played over 57.5 points just twice this year. I expect Notre Dame to win SU, so getting them at +13 is a gift.

There's an earlier post showing Steve Merrill's Holiday Bowl pick of Washington. I have his service and I don't see a Holiday Bowl selection. Also, he was 0-4 yesterday. Anyone know if Holiday bowl pick verified?
