I learned from this forum to always buy the hook and cleaned up on the Bears because of it. I have seen different opinions but my 300 which cost 375 to buy feels well worth it tonight. That covers a lots of hooks!

1st Rule...Don't get beat by the hook!

I pushed (and I'm OK with it after the way the Bears laid down in the 2H)...but I did try to buy the hook this morning when I placed my bet. ...but Bookmaker wasn't offering it (or at least I couldn't find it).

Is this normal for Bookmaker to withhold buying points from time to time? I know they offer it on most games, but they didn't do that on this one.

Again, I'm OK with pushing because I thought my cash was gone...but it would be good to know for the future.

I could've bought, but unfortunately I didn't truly think it would be that close of a game. Live and learn. Again though, as said prior, this push feels like a win after the Bears' 2nd half monumental collapse. I'm more pissed off about my 2H bet on Chi. Had it not been for that, I'd a wiped up due to the over hitting. Oh well, onto tomorrow. No college football this weekend....I'm gonna be having withdrawals...

Yea, we remember the game last year that shouldn't have went down that way. I am waiting for the line to come out first though but We'll be ready for this one and I expect a Ky win by a decent amount. I don't usually bet for or against my own team unless I feel real good about it and I've been waiting for this one.

Patrick Patterson will have a field day in this one

I had a buddy who was out in Maui for the Maui invitational, and he said that Indiana was the WORST looking team he's ever seen; from walking out of the locker room, to stretching, to pre-game layup exercises. He swore they're HORRID. They're 2-4 ATS so far this season. I'd lean with Kentucky at home. This could be a good time for 'Ole whatshisname to get the Kentucky faithful behind him again w/ an asswhooping of a school w/ a brand name. I'd guess Kentucky will be -12 or so?

It helps that IU beat TCU by 10 which should be helpful to us with the line. We'll be up for this game and looking for some major payback. Like I said, I've been waiting for this one since before the season started.

i did a 5 team reverse parlay (3 teams i bet then added bears and idaho state). idaho state went the from the 1058 minute mark till about 40 seconds left without scoring, and failed to cover by 3, killing my parlay.

so i bet the jazz big to clean up.

he had the under in whatever the french game was, but i got home after they started and didnt even bother looking at it. i was really confident in nova tonight and they set me back. i still end up down around $40 tonight, but alot better than the $500+ i was down tonight.
