College Opinion

ARIZONA (-7½) over Ucla

UCLA is coming off a solid 68-57 win over Stanford but the Bruins are just 4-17 ATS after a spread win the last two seasons, including 0-11 ATS if they won their last game by 8 points or more. UCLA will be playing this game without leading scorer and rebounder Reeves Nelson (also a 57% shooter), who is listed as doubtful with an ankle injury. I calculate Reeves’ offensive value at 1.3 points and my ratings favor Arizona by 9½ points with Reeves out. I’ll lean with Arizona at -8 points or less based on the line value and UCLA’s poor record after a good game. I'd take Arizona in a 2-Star Best Bet at -7 points or less.
