It looks to me like a great pitching matchup is on the bill for us in this game. As I mentioned yesterday, Edwin Jackson has owned the Indians by posting wins in 8 straight decisions. He just finished up a complete game shutout of the Tigers in Detroit a week ago, and I can definitely see him having a repeat performance this afternoon in Cleveland. Especially due to the fact that the tribe's lineup has been hitting .217 as a whole over the last 7 contests. Justin Masterson goes to the hill for the Indians, and he's been throwing much better than Jackson. Masterson is keeping his ERA well under 3 over the course of 20 starts this season, as well as having respectable numbers in the other superficial pitching categories. His performance has only improved late into the season. The Sox are on a 6 game under the total streak, and both bullpens are solid. Take the under.
