Are you implying that Cliff Lee, the alleged Second Coming, with his minus 400 line last night perhaps WON'T all by himself lead the Rangers to the Promised Land afterall?@)
Where did people get the idea that Texas is so good? They won't have a prayer against a team like the Yankees, with the overrated Lee or not, if they even make the playoffs.

Game: Chicago Cubs vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

Current Line: Los Angeles (-145)

Over/Under: 7.5

Play On: Chicago (+125)

Inside the Board Room:
Righthander Carlos Silva will take the mound for the Cubs to start this game. Silva is 9-2 this season with a 2.96 ERA. Starting this game for the Dodgers will be Vicente Padilla. The righthander has a 4.72 ERA to go along with a 3-2 record this season. Geovany Soto belted a two-run shot out-of-the-park and drove in three runs on Saturday, as the Cubs defeated the Dodgers 7-3. The Cubs won that game as +123 underdogs, while the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8) . Tom Gorzelanny allowed six hits and two runs over six innings with seven strikeouts for the Cubs win. John Ely surrendered six runs off five hits in 2 1-3 innings in the Dodgers loss.
Take the Cubby's tonight.
Take the Cubbies, NOT the Cubby's. Didn't this imbecile attend fourth grade? It's a plural, not a possessive.

They just were swept at home in a four game series by the ORIOLES, moron! I watched every game. They're not that good. If you think the Yankees would allow themselves to lose four games straight at home to the worst team in baseball, then you're clueless.

LOL @ the overrated Cliff Lee. Yeah, he's so good that he's on his fourth team in three years. Teams really are hanging on to this loser. Comes over with all of this hype and gives up homeruns in three straight innings! LMAO!!!

LOL, thats exactly why your Yanks were about to sell the farm in a top 5 minor league bat in Jesus Montero to go get him for a 3 month rental. You sound like an idiot homer that would be on Cliff Lee's nuts if he was on your homer team. There are other teams in the baseball world and the Rangers are a force. Yea they got swept by a young Orioles squad, but your just an idiot who probably only watches NY baseball.

And the fact that he gets traded only means that teams want him so bad. It's called a contract you idiot. Wait til his current contract runs out after this year, the team that is gonna make the strongest push for him is your Yankees. I'm sure then you will be all over his nuts and how great he is.

Do you know how stupid you sound by calling Cliff Lee overrated? If anything hes underrated.

Cliff Lee's k/bb ratio : 15.17
Roy Halladay's k/bb ratio: 6.74
Stephen Strasburg's k/bb ratio: 5.55
Tim Lincecum's k/bb ratio: 2.73
CC Sabathia's k/bb ratio: 2.58

Not to mention he leads ALL starting pitchers with over 100 IP in WHIP which is the true definition of a good pitcher.

Cliff Lee's WHIP: 0.95
Josh Johnson's WHIP: 0.96
Stephen Strasburg's WHIP: 1.01 (Not over 100ip but I'm assuming even idiots like you might have heard of him)
Ubaldo Jimenez's WHIP: 1.05
Roy Halladay's WHIP: 1.05
CC Sabathia's WHIP: 1.15

Overrated??? Your a fool.

The Yankees would have signed Cliff Lee , so he would not have been a rental for the yanks.

By going to Texas he is strictly a 3-Month rental & probably not as pumped up pitching for the Rangers as he would have been for the Yankees, also it was reported his wife and CC Sabathia's wife where already talking about real estate locations as he thought he was going to the Yankees Friday night, remembr that was his buddy on the Indians. So in the end the Yankess keep a future 30HR Catcher & they will get Lee in December - Yankees luck out again!
