REASON FOR PICK: Scott Rickenbach’s Free Pick Opinion Play for MLB Sunday: UNDER the total in New York Mets vs Atlanta @ 8:05 PM ET: Pelfrey vs Hanson – Yes, this total is extremely low but it’s absolutely justified. Not only are Mike Pelfrey of the Mets and Tommy Hanson both pitching very well, the Braves have some major issues in their lineup right now. Not only are Heyward and Glaus both struggling with way too many strikeouts, now the Braves just lost Chipper Jones to a hip injury. Heyward, inexperienced, and Glaus, and aging veteran, are struggling to make contact and that’s bad news the way Pelfrey is fooling hitters so far this season. Pelfrey is going for his fourth straight win to begin the season and his ERA is miniscule. As for Hanson of the Braves, he’s been mowing down hitters and he also had success in his start against the Mets last fall. He’s shown “mound maturity” beyond his years and, with how well his counterpart is pitching, we foresee this match-up quickly turning into a pitchers duel. The Braves are 6-2 to the under in night games this season while also going 4-1 to the under against divisional opponents. The Mets are 7-4 to the under in their home park as it continues to play out as a pitchers park. The Braves have averaged just 6 hits per game in their last 7 games. The Mets have averaged just 7 hits per game in their last 7 games. Consider a small play on UNDER the total in the New York Mets game on Sunday night.

Nuggets at Jazz
Pick: Nuggets +2

The Utah Jazz have for years been the most dominate home team in the NBA and they already established that mantra in Game Three as they took out the Nuggets in an easy win. Conflicting trends surround this match-up as Utah is 24-9-2 against the points in their last 35 home games and Denver is 1-7-1 in their last nine road games but, Denver is also 7-2-2 in their last 11 meetings with Utah. Game Four will even the series. Take NUGGETS!

MLB SUNDAY 22-4 BLAST

CLEVELAND INDIANS @ OAKLAND A's
3 UNITS: OAKLAND A's -1.5 +170

The Cleveland Indians will have problems with Gio Gonzalez. Gonzalez is a lefthander, and the Indians have struggled to a 3-11 mark in their last 14 when facing a lefthander. They have also had trouble finding the win column behind Masterson, as they are a woeful 1-9 in his last 10 starts. Top that off with one of the worst road records in baseball, the Indians are just 4-22 in their last 26 on the road. A's taking it to road teams with a losing record, turning in a 20-8 mark over their last 28 games. Indians just 8-23 in their last 31 in Oakland, and have dropped 6 of the last 7. Oakland gets this one on the runline

Yikes, Deano is getting rolled in the bases early. Anyone know how he did last year? Or how he did on his 5* and up in mlb? Thanks.

I was up last year but used other cappers as well. He didn't use a rating system like he does this year. According to his site he went 54%

Bad start for sure but I'm sure he will bounce back once all systems are live and going. We will see
