There have been some horrendous runs as of late.. Big Al is 1-11, Wayne Root 0-8 I believe.. Owad plays lost 7 in a row with some small wins along the way, Spreitzer 1-4, Burns 3-5.. Think this tourney has been like none other..
Thanks for that-I am not surprised.
Still though I maintain that giving out Kansas at -11 1/2 was one of the worst picks I have seen in recent years.
Don't the services have eyes-didn't they see what transpired in VCU's games in the tournament including against Purdue?
Who the fu k are thy to say "Sorry VCU, the party is over and you are going to get smoked today?"
Hey remember we are talking college kids here who play with a lot of emotion and anything can happen.
Who is Kansas all of a sudden to be a 11 1/2 point favorite over a team which is playing like world beaters at the moment?
This is not a four of seven series-it is one frigging game-in my mind based on ther circumstances and how VCU and Kansas had been playing going into the game and NOT on record season records during regular season, Kanas should have been favored by 6 points tops(this imo is the lien based on reality and not just trying to balance the action).
As stated before, it is not a fluke that VCU reached the final eight, and win or lose yesterday, and yet some services in their arrogance and alleged omiscience told clients to "invest" their money in a team which had no business being favored by anywhere as near as many points as they were.

Always been this way for college hoops post-season. They all suck this time of year. Better to handicap your own. If it looks like a no-brainer, go the other way!

I agree with this except I would add/slightly change your statement "They all suck this time of year" to "Almost all of them suck over ANY reasonably long period of time and couldn't survive/show a profit themselves just by betting their own games, ie., without having clients who buy into their hype."

What gets me is that some of these services are so fucking arrogant that they won't even admit they were wrong about Kansas/VCU-case in point Wayne Root-Can you imagine telling your clients that Kansas is the strongest bet he has had in eight years and telling folks to play it as a lightning bet meaning that the more they win or lose and cover/don't cover the spread by, the more they win or lose and then not fessing up to the fact it was a horrible pick after his team gets crushed!!!
And this arrogant/self-serving Napoleonic twerp has aspirations to be President of the US with thinking/judgments like that???-God help us if the people in this country are stupid enough to elect him!
