The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Sunday's Best NCAA Bets

Duke Blue Devils vs. North Carolina Tar Heels (+3)

There won’t be a game on the NCAA basketball betting slate on Sunday that has more meaning than the one between the Duke Blue Devils and the North Carolina Tar Heels. These two teams aren’t just playing for pride and for the league title, but probably for a No. 1 seed in March Madness to boot.

The Tar Heels have found ways to survive in this tournament in spite of the fact that seemingly everyone has given them their best shot. It took a last second shot by John Henson to put away the Miami Hurricanes in the quarterfinals, but the real test came from a Clemson Tigers team that is firmly on the bubble for March Madness. UNC had to come from behind and really hit the gas pedal down the stretch to take care of the Tigers in OT. The hero for this team for both the end of the regular season when the team started to go on its tear and here in the ACC Tournament has been Harrison Barnes. The lanky frosh was really the only man that kept UNC in the game against Miami when things were tough, but what he did against Clemson was simply unheralded. Barnes had 40 points and eight rebounds in the 92-87 triumph. He now has five straight games with at least 18 points, and he is now averaging 15.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Offensively, this team knows that it can score from all over the court and in bunches. It almost seems like this average of 77.2 points per game would be a triumph to hold this team to, especially with the way that Barnes is playing.

If there was any question about the health of Nolan Smith, there certainly isn’t anymore. The superstar that really proved to be the key to the NCAA Championship last season was injured right at the end of the quarterfinal victory over the Maryland Terrapins. He was listed as questionable for the majority of the time leading up to tipoff against the Virginia Tech Hokies, but he was in the fold, and in it for 39 of the 40 minutes of the game. Smith played incredibly well, shooting 8-for-16 from the field and scoring a game high 27 points. Kyle Singler didn’t have his greatest shooting performance against the Hokies, but his 13 points and 11 rebounds were definitely key contributions. Other players are definitely knocking down shots at key times now for the Blue Devils, but the real key is defense. Holding V-Tech to just 36.8 percent shooting from the field was the reason that this team is still playing on the final day of the ACC Tournament.

It was only a week ago that we said that North Carolina would win the battle, but that Duke would win the war when it came to the ACC Championship. Guess what? It’s time for the Dookies to win the war and to knock UNC off of the No. 1 line in the NCAA Tournament once and for all.

PICK: Duke

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Penn State Nittany Lions (+10)

This is what makes the madness of March fantastic. The upstart Penn State Nittany Lions will hope to earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament out of nowhere on Sunday afternoon in college basketball betting action, as they take on one of the top teams in the country, the Ohio State Buckeyes.

What a terrific story Penn State is. This is a team that wasn’t even so sure that it would be an NIT team with an early exit from the Big Ten Tournament, and all of a sudden, here it is right on the verge of the dance, potentially even without a win on Sunday. The argument could be made that 19 wins against 14 losses and a trip into the conference finale after winning three games in three days should be enough for the Nittany Lions to get into the tourney, but there are still too many unknowns that cannot be counted on, not the least of which are the opinions of the Selection Committee. The offense for Penn State really struggled in that epic slugfest against the Wisconsin Badgers in the quarterfinals on Friday night, but between Tim Frazier and Taylor Battle, they scored 47 in the semis against the Michigan State Spartans. Of course, the rest of this team really struggled mightily in the 61-48 triumph, but any time you have two players that almost outscore the entire team on the other side of the court, you’ve really accomplished something.

OSU could really care less about any Cinderella story here in the Big 10 Tournament, as it just wants to end this drama, win the conference crown, and head into the NCAA Tournament with its No. 1 seed intact. There is no reason not to get that top seed even without the Big 10 title, but just like Penn State, the Buckeyes want to leave nothing to chance. It really doesn’t feel like we’ve seen the best out of this team here at Conseco Fieldhouse, as a struggle with the Michigan Wolverines in the semifinals happened just one day after the OT near miss against the Northwestern Wildcats. However, even the best teams struggle at times, and it is how they muddle through those tough situations that define them as champions. You can bet that Head Coach Thad Matta is still preaching that right now to the boys from Columbus, though he would inevitably like to see his whole team at its best at one time on Sunday as a real message to the other 67 teams that are going to be in March Madness.

It’s a hefty point spread to cover, and you might not want to back this until right at the very end, as there should be some money coming in on the underdog and upstart Nittany Lions. Still, after watching these two look like they belong on totally separate planets just two weeks ago, we’ll take our chances laying the lumber with Ohio State.

PICK: Ohio State

Kentucky Wildcats vs. Florida Gators (+2)

After a season of berating his team and questioning its abilities, Head Coach John Calipari has his Kentucky Wildcats just one game away from winning the SEC Championship. The Cats will head into battle on Selection Sunday against the Florida Gators in NCAA basketball betting action at the Georgia Dome.

The Gators have done a great job getting into the SEC Championship Game in spite of the fact that they have really only utilized a handful of players in this tournament for any period of time. The 77-66 victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores was the second straight great win over an SEC East foe, and UF will be looking for the hat trick against arguably the three best teams in the conference. Kenny Boynton has had a great tournament, scoring 24 against Vandy and 22 against the Tennessee Volunteers. The real equalizer has been defense for this team. Vandy only shot 32.9 percent from the floor in the semis, and the team’s leading scorer, John Jenkins only went 3-for-18. All season long, this has been one of the strong points for a very athletic and versatile team. The Gators are giving up just 62.7 points per game on the campaign. Over the course of the last 11 games, UF has held teams in the 60s in scoring eight games, including doing it to teams like Vandy twice (and one of those came in OT!), Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.

It almost seems like the whole world has forgotten just how talented the Wildcats really are. All of a sudden, this team has rolled off five straight wins, and even though it is only 2-2-1 ATS over the course of these duels, Head Coach John Calipari really isn’t complaining. Again, depth is a real problem. There isn’t any sort of question about who is going to be on the court for Calipari and the crew, as there were only six players that touched the court for more than two minutes in the semifinals against the Alabama Crimson Tide, and none of the other four that stepped on the court even ended up putting up a single stat between them. The big problem is that someone else is going to have to be in the rotation for sure on Sunday, because DeAndre Liggins isn’t likely to play with an ankle sprain he picked up against the Tide. If anyone gets into foul trouble or injured, Calipari is going to have a real mess on his hands just trying to keep enough men on the court to be able to play with any sort of experience.

This is bad, bad news for Kentucky if Liggins can’t go. Florida at least has the confidence to use two or three players off of its bench, while the Cats really aren’t going to have anyone to turn to. If this were the first day of the tournament, we wouldn’t be so concerned. But these players have all been out there for three straight days by the time this one is over with, and we just don’t see Kentucky’s five being able to keep up with the Gators.

PICK: Florida

Pick 'n' roll:

Sunday's Best NBA Bets

Indiana Pacers at New York Knicks (-8, 218)

The wheels have come off for the Pacers.

Indiana has dropped six straight and eight of the past 10 overall. The culprit? A mediocre defense that also has seen the team go 2-8 ATS over that span. During this stretch, Indiana has coughed up at least 100 points in nine of those games. This is especially troubling for a team that is among the league leaders in field goal defense (44.7 percent).

"We are not focused on the little details, execution, not giving up easy baskets in transition and it leads to losses," said Pacers forward Danny Granger. "We are going to keep losing until we change it."

And the Knicks can’t wait to keep the Pacers coughing up easy baskets.

New York might struggle on defense as well, but is having little problem scoring the ball with Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony. Overall, the Knicks have cracked the century mark in eight of their past 10 games. Stoudemire is coming off a strong performance against Dallas in which he dropped 36 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

Anthony has topped his 25.3 points per game scoring average six times in the past 10 games.

"We'll have nights that they're unstoppable," Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said.

PICK: Knicks

Minnesota Timberwolves at Golden State Warriors (-6.5, 218.5)

Things might finally be turning around in Minnesota.

The Timberwolves have won two straight and are 3-0 ATS in their past thee. They are finally blending all their parts together while using a young, deep bench to supplement the play of stars Michael Beasley and Kevin Love, along with the emergence of center Darko Milicic.

"It's the end of the season," Milicic said. "We're kind of a struggling team. We're not going to make the playoffs. We're going to go home on April 13. It shows something about us that we're going out against teams fighting for playoff spots and we give them a good fight."

Love is a beast with his record 53-game double-double streak, and Beasley can score in bunches. But over the past three games, Milicic has helped give them an additional inside presence. He combined for 10 points, eight rebounds and five blocks in two games prior to a breakout 14-point, six-rebound, four-assist, two-block performance in a 122-101 win over Utah.

The Warriors, meanwhile, have dropped seven of their past 10 games overall and are just 4-6 ATS over that span. Golden State is coming off a 123-120 overtime win over the Magic that saw the team bury a fluky 21 three-pointers.

Another strong performance by Milicic is more likely than another 20-plus three-point performance from Golden State.

PICK: Timberwolves

Sunday's Best NHL Bets

Ottawa Senators at Buffalo Sabres (N/A, 5.5)

Somewhere on the plane ride from Colorado to Ottawa last month, goaltender Craig Anderson rediscovered his talent. All it took was getting traded from one of the worst teams in the Western Conference to one of the worst in the Eastern Conference for him to remember that he didn’t suck.

Since getting traded to Ottawa, Anderson has gone 6-3, making over 30 saves in six of those starts. Overall, he has stopped 284 of 297 shots with the Senators, posting an astronomical .956 save percentage to go with a dental-floss thin 1.44 goals-against average. And he won’t be bashful about going on the road to face the Sabres.

“Craig is in a zone right now,” Ottawa coach Cory Clouston said.

On the road with Ottawa he has been even better, posting a 4-1 record along with a 1.18 goals-against average and .969 save percentage.

“It feels good to come in here and play well,” Anderson said following a 2-1 win over the Panthers. “There was a lot from the outside. They had some quality chances. We did a great job of keeping them to the outside and allowing me to make the save.”

Buffalo is coming off a tough game against Toronto and likely will be without forwards Johan Hecht and Drew Stafford as they continue to nurse injuries.

PICK: Ottawa

Phoenix Coyotes at Anaheim Ducks (-140, 5.5)

The Ducks offense is back on the right track.

Anaheim has lit the red lamp 20 times in its past six games. Not surprisingly, the team is a sparkling 5-1 over that span. In their most recent victory--a 5-2 win over slumping Colorado--the Ducks notched a power-play goal and held a 33-26 edge in shots.

During this stretch, the team has been led by forwards Ryan Getzlaf (2 goals, 6 assists), Corey Perry (3 goals, 3 assists), and Teemu Selanne (1 goal, 5 assists).

"These are all must-wins for us," Getzlaf said following a win over the Avalanche. "We can't afford to take anybody lightly in this league, and we were victims of that to start this game. The first period we were sitting back. Guys did a great job of turning it around in the second period. It's all about how you finish and we were able to get things done tonight."

On the other bench, the Coyotes have dropped six of their past eight games and are struggling to shut down other teams on the man advantage. Phoenix has coughed up a power-play goal in seven of its past eight games for a staggering total of 12 over that span.

The Ducks should easily cash in.

Sunday's Betting Tips: Duke Eyes Revenge

WHO'S HOT

NHL: The Senators are 4-0 in their last four road games and the under is 6-0-1 in their last seven overall.

NCAAB: Florida is 5-0-1 ATS in its last six overall.

NCAAB: Richmond is 6-0 ATS in its last six overall.

NBA: The under is 5-1 in Milwaukee's last six road games and 4-0 in Boston's last four against the Eastern Conference.

NBA: The under is 4-0 in Charlotte's last four road games and 4-1 in Toronto's last four home games.

WHO'S NOT

NHL: The Coyotes are 0-4 in their last four road games.

NCAAB: Ohio State is 1-4 ATS in its last five neutral-site games.

NCAAB: The over is 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings between Duke and North Carolina.

NBA: The Celtics are 0-4 ATS in their last four overall.

NBA: The Pacers are 0-4 ATS in their last four overall.

KEY STAT

53 – Kevin Love is making double-doubles look easier than stealing candy from a baby. He recorded his 53rd straight on Friday night as Minnesota routed the Jazz 122-101. Love, who scored 24 points and added 12 rebounds, already has the NBA record for consecutive double-doubles and he will look to extend it when the Timberwolves visit Golden State on Sunday. The former UCLA Bruin is three for three on double-doubles against the Warriors this season and he enjoyed a 37-point, 23-rebound outburst in a 126-123 victory over them on February 27.

INJURIES THAT SHOULDN'T BE OVERLOOKED

The Thunder and Cavs are filling up the injury report heading into their contest on Sunday. Of course, for Oklahoma City it is just more of the same. Kendrick Perkins (knee) is getting better and has returned to practice, but he is listed as doubtful and likely won't make his debut with the Thunder in this one. Nate Robinson (knee), also newly acquired, is expected to be sidelined until late April.

Cleveland will likely be without center Semih Erden, who is doubtful with a groin problem. That may not seem like a big loss, but the Cavs are already thing. Baron Davis (personal - death in family) probably won't return until next weekend, Anderson Varejao is out for the year, and Antawn Jameson (finger) is slated for a mid-April comeback.

BIGGEST GAME ON THE SLATE

Duke Blue Devils vs. North Carolina Tar Heels (3.5, 145.5)

NOTABLE QUOTABLE

"We lost to them last time we played them, so I am looking forward to it. When you're in a tournament like this, you kind of want the two best teams playing in the championship game. I believe the two best teams are in it, so it's going to work out to be a great ballgame.'' -- Duke forward Kyle Singler on North Carolina and the ACC Championship between the two rivals on Sunday afternoon in Greensboro. Duke and UNC split their regular-season meetings.

TIPS AND NOTES

The Stars and Kings are moving up in the Western Conference standings and have solid goaltending to thank heading into their showdown on Sunday. Los Angeles is on a two-game winning streak and has allowed only three goals in those two contests. Jonathan Bernier Quick held Columbus to a pair and Jonathan Quick limited Detroit to just one. For Dallas, Kahri Lehtonen delivered his first shutout on Friday night in a 4-0 win over Minnesota. "He's been so close before, so we definitely wanted to help him out," said defenseman Nicklas Grossman. "He had some key saves and some key moments early. Then we definitely pushed them as the game went on. It was fun to see him get the shutout."

Cleveland is back to its losing ways again, having dropped three in a row (0-3 ATS) and five of its last six (2-4 ATS). Head coach Byron Scott attributes all the losing to youth. ''When I look at our roster, I sit back and say, 'OK, it explains a lot,''' Scott said of a team that has nine players under 25 years old who get significant minutes when healthy. ''As frustrated as I get with the way we play sometimes, against New York and the bigger-market teams, we really come out and we're really jacked up. That's youth. We have to get past that. But our guys are pretty much playing hard and they're giving me an effort. That's all I want them to do.''

ACC tournament (Greensboro)
Its been eight years since UNC-Duke met in ACC tournament. Teams split two meetings this year, but Carolina led both games at halftime by double digit margin. Duke won this tournament last two years- they've got eight straight tourney wins. Tar Heels were down double digits last two days in second half, but were bailed out by freshmen. Higher seed won the ACC final in each of the last six tournaments.

SEC tournament (Atlanta)
Kentucky (-1) lost 70-68 at Florida Feb 5, then won rematch 76-68 (-5) at home three weeks later; Wildcats won seven of their last eight games, are 5-7-1 vs spread in its last 13 games when favored- they made 9-20 from arc vs Alabama Saturday, leading by 16 at half in easy win. Gators won 10 of their last 11 games. Lower-seeded team won two of last three SEC title games, with last two decided by a total of four points.

Atlantic 14 tournament (Atlantic City)
Dayton can steal bid with win here, so all of Anerica is rooting for the Spiders, who won 70-61 (+1.5) at Dayton Jan 25, making 8-15 from arc while Flyers shot just 34.4% from floor. Dayton won last two days by combined total of four points- they've covered four of last five games as underdogs. Higher-seeded team won last four A-14 finals, with last three decided by 5-5-4 points. Richmond lost in finals here last March.

Big 11 tournament (Indianapolis)
Ohio State (-17) nipped Penn State 69-66 at home Jan 15, then came to Penn State and won 82-61 (-6) March 1. PSU held Spartans to 32% in upset win yesterday- they're in uncharted territory here. Buckeyes are 2-0 in Big 11 finals last four years, winning by 17-29 points; higher-seed won last four Big 11 finals, with three wins by 13+ points. Ohio State is 4-2 vs spread in its last six games as a favorite.
