DENVER BRONCOS -14

Oakland had a great deal of enthusiasm heading into their home game against Washington last week. They had a 1st half lead and looked like they had a good chance at winning the game before starting quarterback Bruce Gradkowski got knocked out of the game. JaMarcus Russell came in and the energy was gone, which led to a blowout win by Washington. Now they have to travel to Denver and play a motivated Broncos team. As a result of Gradkowski’s injury, third string quarterback Charlie Frye will get the start. Denver dominated Oakland earlier in the season on the road, and they will have no problem handling the Raiders in this game as well. The Raiders are deflated after last week’s blowout loss, while the Broncos need this game to get closer to a playoff berth. Oakland has lost five out of their last ten games by more than two touchdowns, so the Broncos should have no problem dominating the Raiders.

3 UNIT SELECTION BRONCOS.

CAROLINA PANTHERS +9

The Vikings have all but locked up the Number 2 seed in the NFC, needing just one more win and expect them to call of the dogs early and start to prepare for the playoffs. The Panthers are averaging 150 yards per game on the ground and that will allow the clock to run, setting up a strong play with the dog. QB Favre has been shaky in his last two games, losing to the Cardinals two weeks ago and might be without his favorite WR Percy. Carolina still has some playmakers on defense and Coach Fox is fighting for his job and will give maximum effort despite not having a chance to make the playoffs. Take Carolina.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS -1

I'm having trouble with my internet connection- and I hope to be able to get some bullet points for my plays today- Strong winds here in Portland are causing major issues for me this morning.

NFL GOW Play

-Steelers coming in with 10 days off to prepare for this game-

-Steelers coming off PISS POOR game vs Browns in their last game- losing OUTRIGHT to them-

-Playoffs basically gone for the Steelers & NO ONE is giving them a shot today- as they have lost 5 straight ballgames-

-Green Bay red hot and rolling coming into this ballgame and have the whole world backing them today-

-Look for a HUGE EFFORT our of the Steelers in this spot today- and I see GREAT VALUE getting the Steelers at -1 or -2 in this spot today-

-Steelers bounce back in this spot today vs Green Bay- lay the short number on the Steelers today guys!-

BOSTON CELTICS -13

I like the Celtics to apply a major blowout to the lowly Wolves, as they want badly to bounce back after such unexpected loss last game at home against the Sixers.

The Celtics are rested, as this is only their second game in a 6-days span and in their last game, they were defeated at home against the Sixers. It was a weird loss because the Celtics were leading by 11 points at the break and earlier in the third quarter, they were leading by 15 points. However somehow they lost their focus and lost the game. Rasheed Wallace was ejected, the Celtics committed 17 turnovers and Garnett and Pierce combined to shot only 9-26 from the field. This wasn’t a typical Celtics performance and we can expect them to be fired up today because of that.

Meanwhile, the Wolves are a team that basically depend on the “opponents mood” to be competitive. I’ll explain: when they faced teams that were coming from wins in their previous game, the Wolves went 10-5 ATS. On the other side, when they faced hungry teams that were coming from a loss, then the Wolves went 3-8 ATS and that is the spot of the Celtics for today. The Wolves have the third worst ball movement in the league with a poor A/TO ratio of 1.188 and to be able to be competitive, they need to score in the paint with Al Jefferson and on fast break opportunities. The problem for them is that the Celtics are one of the best teams in the league in stopping the FB’s and points in the paint and so, I predict the Wolves to be completely shut down today and the Celtics to cruise past the Wolves on a major blowout. Take the Celtics today.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 510 Boston Celtics (-13)

We have the whole 2nd half left. If there defense work a little harder and the offense scores 3 touchdown, we are winners:103631605:dancefool:dancefool:dancefool

Winner at the HALF!

VEGAS RUNNER

triple-dime bet 319 CLE / 320 KAN Over 37.0 Bodog
Analysis:

*** NFL 3* "TRUE STEAM" GAME OF THE WEEK ***

These are the kind of "Steam" Bets that I've always loved betting the most...even back when I was just a runner, because they were the ones that were concealed so well...And you really had to have some solid sources to uncover...

And that's the case again with this bet...because the line move looks so insignificant...But I can tell you that nothing could be further from the truth...

This line first went up at 36.5, and within 5 minutes...the books were willing to ta~ke it up to the "Key Number" of 37...

But what we saw as a few days past...was that the books, in anticipation of the public really liking the Under...went ahead and dropped it back to 36.5...And this time, the Wiseguys decided to work the market some...by leaving it alone...

This gave the books plenty of confidence that they would now only have to deal with the Betting Public...So in an effort to give them the "worst of it"...we saw a handful drop their lines even lower...And that's when the Wiseguys decided, it was once again time to Unload...

And with so many more "Outs" offering lines for this weekend's games...the Outfits really went to work and bet the OVER everywhere they could...

In fact, they bet it enough...that even with so much Under money expected by the public come game-day...the books were still willing to take it back to that "Key Total" of 37...Higher than their opener...

Again, these are the "moves" that very few pick up on, without having a solid source...

Fortunately for us, we have plenty of sources who are actually behind a lot of these moves...Which is why we can be sure that the Outfits love the Over...

Finally, I made sure to check the forcast...because we all know that the mention of snow will force a huge adjustment downwards...But it appears that won't be a problem on Sunday...

Don't fear seeing this line drop some on game-day, because we all know that public money outweighs wiseguy money, especially in the NFL...And since it appears that the Outfits got down as much as they wanted on this Under...the books may feel confident enough that they won't look to take another position...and therefore lower the Total, in an attempt to give the public the worst of it...

But rest assured, you and I both...are on the same side that the Betting Syndicates will be rooting for come Sunday...And with enough public money on the Under...we just may have the Books rooting in that Over for us as well...VR

A rarity for Vegas Runner, but he has already hit this major play.

Minnesota Over (43) for 2 Units

The season long grind has taken its toll on the Panthers in the form of attrition; consequently, they'll miss a number of starters, including on the defensive side of the ball. And with yet another makeshift defensive lineup, the Panthers will have difficulty stopping a Vikings' offense that rattles off 30 ppg. On the other hand, the Vikings' defense is thin at linebacker, where E.J. Henderson (leg) and Erin Henderson (suspended) create a void for the prolific run game of Carolina to exploit. And with DeAngelo Williams back in the fray, QB Matt Moore should be able to get more comfortable at the controls. And having All-Pro WR Steve Smith healthy, will surely make it easier to operate for Moore. The Vikings are 7-3 O/U on grass fields and we'll grab the "over" here.

The bloom is off the Budin rose. If he loses again today this might be his worst losing streak.

Just buying Budin's picks for football would have you down over $1800 and that's not even including what you might have lost on the games...

I haven't been playing him much this year, but he did make me a bunch of money the last 2 years... After I saw how bad he did in baseball this year I was hesitant to blindly follow him into football.
