BIG AL's SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME OF THE YEAR!
At 8:20 pm, our Sunday Night Game of the Year is on the Arizona Cardinals plus the points over Minnesota. Last week, Cardinal QB Kurt Warner remained on the sidelines due to concussion-related injuries, and he's questionable for this game, although signs indicate that he will play. Regardless, Arizona has a very competent back-up in Matt Leinart, so all is not lost, if Warner is unable to go, or if he does start, yet suffers an injury in the game. Meanwhile, Minnesota has its own injury issues, as its top-flight cornerback, Antoine Winfield, may miss his sixth straight game, and TE Visanthe Shiancoe is listed as questionable (though likely to play). I really like the Cardinals in this game, as they fall into 51-27, 101-48, and 45-18 ATS systems of mine which go against Minnesota off its 36-10 blowout win over its division rival, the Chicago Bears. Also, this is a tough scheduling spot for the Vikes, who now play on the road off three straight home games. And road faves priced from -3 to -6 points have covered just 3 of 19 times vs. a foe off a straight-up loss, including 0-8 ATS if our road fave is off a division foe. Sunday Night Game of the Year on the Cardinals. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
