I'm not a huge fan of the run-line but it makes sense here. The Halos come off a 4-3 loss in extras yesterday and they would have be furious at the effort given they gave up 3 runs in the top of 9th to send it to extras. In extras, the Mariners notched up another run for a come from behind win. That frustration carries over to today as the Halos face the Ms once again. This time, they have Santana who starts after getting shelled in his last effort for 7 runs. Ervin is a solid bounce-back pitcher as he only lasted one inning against the Whitesox, giving up 9 hits and 7 runs. I cannot imagine a pitcher who will be looking to redeem himself more than Ervin and consequently I suspect he does well. Remember, Ervin faced the Mariners earlier this year as he went 6 innings and gave up 1 run to the Mariners on the road in a 0-1 loss. So, he has that element of revenge as well. Plus, Olson has comess off a 6 inning performance when he gave up 0 runs to the Giants and I believe he will likely haev a let down. In limited action against the Angels this year, he gave up 3 hits and 1 run while recording 2 outs. I like the Halos here as they look to rebound from yesterday's loss, have a pitcher who is on the rebound and have had success against Olson as well.
Good luck,
