NBA Rivalry GOY (Rockets) : The Rockets have been playing well,
winners of three straight, seven of the last nine and 15-4 the
last 19 games. The Rockets are third right now in the Western
Conference behind the Lakers by 10 games and just a half game
behind the Spurs. The Rockets are without power forward Carl
Landry for up to three weeks after suffering a gun shot wound.
Yao Ming has been red hot, making 61.4% of his shots in the last
five games and averaging 20.6 ppg. And, when Ming breaks the 30-mark
(which he's done 7 times this year) the team is a perfect 7-0.
Meanwhile the Spurs have split their last four games SU, but gone
1-4 ATS their last five. Manu Ginobili is still hurting and is likely
out a while longer after missing the last 16 games. The Spurs have
covered two of the three meetings this year, but only narrowly beat
the Rockets at San Antonio back in November, 77-75. Prior to this
