20-Dime Troy Trojans - I remember watching on one of these obscure channels on satellite TV, how the Trojans ended up sweeping the Jaguars with that Senior night win. Four players scored in double-figures to lead Troy past South Alabama 59-51 at Trojan Arena in Sun Belt action. Now it's time to keep the domination alive, and I don't see a problem for a team that produced its best record in five seasons and could run away with this tournament title.
To put it bluntly, this has been a magical season for Troy, winners of 13 of its last 14 and the No. 3 seed in the Sun Belt Tournament. The Trojans finished the season 19-11 and 14-4 in conference play, and really exceeded all expectations by earning wins over every other team in the league.
The fact is, the rest of the league has had problems slowing down Troy’s dribble-drive offense. It's a system that has disciplined the roster to play within the parameters of their roles, and it's worked well against tight defensive sets. And when you over-compensate, like South Alabama might do today, you get burned badly.
Trust me with this pick'em game, it's a steal with Troy.
