The Duke's Sports
Oklahoma State (-17) for 2.5 Units
Washington State has gradually deteriorated since Mike Price left in 2002. It is difficult for Wulff, who doesn't bring a whole lot to the table, to acquire blue chip recruits in a competitive PAC 10; consequently, we see the Cougars staying in a funk as long as Wulff is in charge. Oklahoma State, on the other hand, lost a lot of key players and clearly won't have the experience Washington State brings to the field; however, we like the Cowboys' athletes, coaches and football program much better than the Cougars' program. And with home field advantage, we find the value still in the Cowboys. Cougars are very sluggish early in the season (2-8 ATS in September) and no recent success vs the Big 12 ( 0-4 ATS ). Cowboys the call.
