“The 14th annual Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers 5K Run & Walk will take place this Sunday. The event brings together people around the world to run in the footsteps of a hero. Every year my family runs T2T. We have been doing it since my kids, Sean, 16, and Ciara, 15, were in strollers. We have watched it become bigger and bigger. I strongly recommend everyone to do this run/walk at least once in their life. Running through the tunnel in shorts and T-shirt feeling the difference in air is a bit of a challenge, then imagine in full fire gear with the urgencies of life or death. That’s what Stephen Siller did and you come out and see firemen holding pictures of the fallen. Rosedale's own Liam Flaherty will lead the FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums.
