We are big fans of White Sox starter Philip Humber, an unknown commodity to the average baseball bettor, going 7-3 with a ERA of 2.90. In June alone he went 3-1 and his WHIP is an tidy 0.97. Our chief baseball handicapper Frank Drake reports that the Cubs are 20-54 in their last 74 games when facing a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15. Cubs starter Matt Garza is pitching better as of late, but the White Sox have always given him problems, as he has posted a 6.17 career-ERA against them. We've got the better team with the better starting pitcher and we've only got to lay a price of -115. Sounds like a bargain to us. Play the White Sox.
