New York Mets -1.5

This game is all about the pitching matchup, with Santana being far better than his opponent. The Giants are off to a hot start, but it will be tough for them at the tail-end of their road trip. Look for New York to take advantage of this windy day, as they obviously are familiar with their home ball park better than the Giants. Take the Mets -1.5.

Orlando Under (195) for 3 Units

This series has gone 1-6 O/U in its last 7 meetings and 2-6 O/U in its last 8 in Atlanta. Orlando is one of the few teams in the league that has the athleticism and the defensive discipline to lock down Atlanta on this floor. Atlanta is 0-4 O/U as a home dog, and they're 3-8 O/U as a playoff dog. The Magic are 7-18 O/U when an opponent allows 100+ in its previous game. We'll look for relatively low scoring output here.

Ben lee won on Friday with the Brew crew -$140/Dbacks.

For Saturday "Mr Chalk" is back with a "Pure Chalk" play the Rangers -$220/Royals.

"Mr Chalk" is 20-11 -$160 for the 2010 MLB season.

I met Ben Lee once, when he was a contestant on the old handicapping contest held by the Stardust, and he seemed like a nice enough guy, but, does he give any comments on wherever you find these plays? It seems like it's been over two years of him winning about 2/3 of his bets but losing big because he's "Mr Chalk."

2-Unit Play. Take #956 Colorado Rockies (-115) over LA Dodgers (Saturday @ 10:10pm est).

The Rockies fell short in a close ballgame yesterday 5-6 and I expect them to bounce-back today This is a team that has quite a bit of talent and it begins with their starting pitcher today who is actually a candidate for Rookie of the Year. The young man was given a chance last year but could not locate or control his fastball and therefore didn't receive another opportunity after that. He got another chance this year and made the most of it pitching one hit ball over seven innings and seven strikeouts against a good Giants team. He faces the Dodgers on the road now who have not faced him and that should be to his advantage. The Dodgers send a knuckle-baller in Charlie Haeger to the mound today. Haeger is working out of the pen for Torre for some innings and has given up 10 hits over eight innings. He is still having some trouble with location on his knuckle-ball. He is 0-3 with a 6.56 era this year. Haeger knuckle-ball is quite when it is work but I suspect he is likely to have a relatively inconsistent start similar to his other starts and the Rockies have the edge on this ballgame with Chacin. The Rockies are a sound 7-2 following a loss and the Dodgers are a startling 0-8 in their last 8 games as Underdogs.

he posts for one of the local newspapers in NY, what I recall he does not have a write up on the games he picks.
