Anyone else notice that Root hasn't sold his picks on his normal website for 5 or 6 days now. They are being sold on a different site. Could this be due to him possibly being Trump's VP? They are close and Root is a political guy.

I think it's more likely that he got killed by a losing bettor than being trumps VP

I like the Dodgers tonight at Home. The Dodgers are starting to heat up winning 5 of their last 7 games. More importantly they have done it against some of the best teams as they have played Toronto then the Mets and now St Louis. As good as St Louis has been over the last several years they have not fared nearly as well against left handed starters as they have done against right handers. Today they will be facing Scott Kazmir who I expect to have a big outing against the Cardinals. The Cardinals haven’t faced Kazmir since 2010 so that gives him an edge over the hitters. Kazmir started the season off rough but in his last 3 starts he’s been finding his groove posting 21 strikeouts in his last 18 innings of work showing that he is once again fooling the hitters. St Louis has had to burn a lot of pitchers the last 2 nights as their starters didn’t go deep as the Cardinals gave up 10 runs on Thursday night to the Angels and 8 runs last night to the Dodgers. Kazmir has had success in his career pitching on Saturday as in 52 lifetime starts his team is 35-17 when he takes the mound on a Saturday. Saturday games usually draw the biggest attendance and has the most TV coverage proving he gets jacked up for the high profile games. This St Louis team is not as good as the teams we have seen over the last several years. They are 2 games over .500 but go back and look at their 19 wins. St Louis is 19-17 and 14 of the 17 wins were against losing teams. I must point out that 3 of the wins against winning teams that winning team was Philadelphia and the jury is still out on them. St Louis has been horrible against the elite teams. My numbers have Los Angeles winning this 4-2.
