OC Dooley:“2 UNIT” REVENGE PLAY OF THE DAY (Wyoming -1’ at home versus Colorado State in a 4:00 eastern tipoff): In local circles this is known as the Border War Rivalry which recently has been dominated by Colorado State who has won 8 of the past 9 clashes in the scoreboard. Considering that Wyoming comes into today’s game mired in an 0-4 SU/ATS skid caused by the season-ending injury to star forward Larry Nance Junior, one has to wonder why they are favored and the reason has to do with the dismal mark in true road games (2-8) posted by Colorado State. For the entire season when cast as an underdog Colorado State has gone a money-burning 2-10 ATS. On the flipside Wyoming is an impressive 13-4 outright when playing in front of the HOME fans and today actually marks the end of an era. Following the conclusion of today’s game the home arena at Wyoming will be closed to undergo a $30-million dollar renovation. Even though Wyoming is coming off consecutive losses they actually LED both contests at halftime. Wyoming’s shooting percentage (48) is ranked #20 nationally and today they face a soft Colorado State defense that is allowing the opposition to average 44% shooting from the field
