25* Situational Slam Dunk - Mavericks

Dallas is in first place in the division, ahead of San Antonio, so a division title will be an impressive accomplishment. They take care of business at home and catch a break here against a New York Knick team that not only doesn't play any defense but is in a terrible situational spot. It's the second of a back to back spot for NY, playing at uptempo Memphis, and their third game in four nights (all on the road). Part of it has been the dreaded Texas Triangle, at San Antonio and now at Dallas. They didn't play well at San Antonio, losing by double digits and have had some frightful losses the last week, giving up 124 to the Cavs, 102 at Toronto and (uggh) 113 to the Nets, an ugly 113-93 home loss. Dallas has a sizzling 23-9 home mark and is well rested, two full days off. And guess what: The Big Trade has turned out to be a boon for the Mavs. This team was reborn when it traded for Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood and DeShawn Stevenson. The best thing about the winning streak, however, is the attitude that has come with it. The Mavericks are swaggering rather than staggering, as they were before the deal. Can't see the Mavericks not being rested or prepared, especially with a 13-game win streak on the line. Play the Mavericks.

409 Dennis Horner +1.5(NCST)
410 Derrick Favors -1.5 (GT)

Play Favors -1.5 (-110) to outscore Horner

Derrick Favors shoots 61% from the field while Horner makes 47% of his shots. Favors has scored 11 and 18 in the ACC tournament and put up 18 and 16 before that. Dennis Horner is an underrated player for NC State but has scored just 7 and 2 points in the two Greensboro games. Javier Gonzalez, Tracy Smith and Scott Wood are the key scorers for the Wolfpack. Favors outscored Horner 16-14 in their earlier meeting. Look for Favors to outscore him 13-8 today. GL!

A winner!

Man, is there anyone hotter than IC right now?

He is 6-0 in cbb this week, 5-1 this week in nba and 11-1 overall this week.

He is going for 7 in a row tomorrow! :toast::toast::toast:

Ive follow Indian Cowboy(IC) and he comes and goes, but generally very good, IMO.

Utah State laying about 9 points as I release this play at 11 AM Eastern, although I do see a few 8 1/2's out there. However, it's quickly trended upward.$,. The game tips off at 10:00 P.M. Eastern. This is their 17th play the past three years, and eighth this season, of which they are 6-1 so far (all of which I've brought you).

Update: As I expected, the money is rolling in on Utah State, pushing this price up to 9 1/2 to 10 as of 12:30 Eastern.

This is the first fight that Pacquiao is fighting at the FULL welterweight limit which benefits Clottey bc he will be about 160 when he gets in the ring. Cotto was a 145 catchweight, hatton 140, and pacquiao outweighed oscar when they fought. The size difference, his tight underrated defense, and his unorthodox comination punching makes Clottey a very dangerous opponent. He has never been stopped and after seeing his last 10-12 fights ive never seen him hurt in a fight. Manny is in a REAL fight tonight and I cant see him winning any other way than 12 rd dec.

Also Clottey has never fought below welterweight unlike Pacquiao's last 3 140-145 lbs fights. Clottey is big, strong, takes a great shot, and has a great defense. I would not be surprised if he upset Pacquiao and I think he is a bigger threat to win inside the distance. BUT he has trouble sustaining a consistent offense so the BIG play is the over with another play on Pacquiao by decision at +220
