Analysis: Well this is only my second Triple Star in basketball to date this fall. We won our first one a few weeks back and I am ready to roll with Northwestern here as they host Stanford. We won a nice game earlier this week with the Wildcats and I am confident they will get the job done here. They are looking to move to 9-1 on the season which would mark their best start since the 93-94 team. Stanford, 5-4 is off a loss at home to Oklahoma State and frankly I thought the Cowboys should have won that game more handily. We all know by now the Wildcats can fill the nets with 3 poŠinters all game long but what also caught my eye is the fact that they do defend well and stay after it. Bill Carmody has himself a very, very talented club and I feel laying 5 points at home is a steal guys. I see the Wildcats winning this thing by a dozen or more. Regarding the Lt Dan/Boxslayer Drama
I know I didn't email Boxslayer with Lt Dan's email address and I have made a post in our Board Room asking the entire mod team if any of them know anything about the matter. All I know is Lt Dan in post #8 posted the letter B and three plays. Apparently someone who knows Lt Dan's email address emailed it to Boxslayer and naturally most people are blaming the Rx moderators like his email adddress is some sort of military secret that only we know.
I posted this dozens of times over the last 6 years I have been a mod here. The Rx.com does not give out without the permission of the poster involved any information that we have on him or her. All we have anyway is the email address the any poster signed up with (Lt Dan singed up in 2004) and we can if we want track IPs of posts - thats it, no real name other than poster names, no addresses, no phone numbers, work places or any other personal information. A lot of posters make up new for the Rx only email addys. I can tell because they use the name Rx in the email name.
I don't join many forums but when I do I use the name of the forum with a four digit number to register with.
For example NewMovies1554@hotmail.com to join a forum about downloading movies online. I use the email address for nothing else but that registration.
Bottom line here is no one is getting special treatment. Lt Dan thinks The Rx informed Boxslayer what his email address is because of Post #8 in this thread.
He has no proof or anything but he is apparently convinced it couldn't be someone else he emailed in the at least 5 years he has been using the email address in question.
Sorry for the rant, but I am tired of being accused of being a liar and worse everytime someone gets an email or a call from a tout. We are not the source as we are extremely careful with email addresses. Before we had PMs I emailed posters hundreds of times to put posters in touch with their expressed permission ahead of time, since PMs were implemented that proscess has almost ceased.
